Impressive stats from all you young guys. Well done!

Age 15 (freshman)

Bench: 155

youve got a v. good deadlift. Your bench is good. (nearly your bodyweight) nothing to worry about. Just keep plugging away at deads and squats and ur overall strength shall rise :)

ur stats are very good for a 15 year old.

why so hard to believe?
I must admit they are very outstnding lifts, especially for a 15 year old. But I don't think he is lying. And if he is then it is truley pathetic. Maybe Jinkies, you could give us a video of you benching that enormous weight maybe? or any other strength videos, or pic's for the non believers.

This is suppose to be a thread about everyone over 18, so if we are going to debate if its legit or not we can take it somewhere else. Ive gotten the same response anytime ive ever posted my stats and although I dont have to prove anything ill see what I can do about a camera. I just think that everyone including myself would feel im a jackass bringing a camera to the gym.

SW
03-27-2006, 08:38 AM
The thing is, jinkies, that a 15 year old benching 370 would be a huge record. Your other lifts, if legit, would also be records somewhere. I'm sure you could understand why alot of people question it because you don't mention what records you hold.

its just pretty unbelievable that someone 2 years younger than me and presumably lighter than me is lifting that much more than i am, im not saying im god, but i do have good genetics and work damn hard in the gym. But lying over the internet about your lifts is possibly the most pitiful thing anyone can do as an ego boost, so just for convenience i'll say that those are legit. some pics/vids would help though and get all of the "haters" off of your back.

Jinkies
03-27-2006, 05:29 PM
I concider my lifts weak and by no means anywhere near a record, next time i get a good break ill max and film but theres no way i can bring a camera to my school and take videos without the coach chewing my ass out. Its tough cause id have to max at 24 hour fitness and it would be maxing out after i already lifted that day cause id have to come afterschool. ( I promise proof tho) I figured that if my lifts were anything good id have been noticed, but nothings come up yet. Im trying to break 400 pounds on bench before my 16th birthday, then see if i can get that put in the books.

HoTShoT_KiD
03-27-2006, 05:56 PM
Although those are some major lifts, especially for someone his age, why doubt him? I see no point in coming to an online forum and lying about my lifts, it serves no purpose. It can't be an ego boost because if they aren't true, he knows he's lying, therefore would have nothing to be proud of. How can you boost your ego from something you never accomplished? Sure proof would be nice, and it surely would quiet down some people, but i honestly don't see a point in someone bsing their lifts. If he continues to dodge pics and/or proof then maybe something is up, but until then just lay off.

Stark you are a monster. 315 bench at 160?? wow. I bet being 5'6 helps. :)

I'm 17, been lifting for a little under 2 years, though that 3 month break/cut for wrestling season usually hampers my lifts, so I have to lift hard just to get back where I was.

Wow, looking at some of these numbers this is a little emberassing, but whatever. Do you guys play other sports or just lift?

My bests are all at 168 lbs and in my sig, but here they are again:

Bench: 195
Squat: 310
Dead: 335
Power Clean: 220

Oo... My pride... At least I gots some brains! 4.0 in the IB program!

Just to clarify, i wasn't saying that i doubt you, i do believe you. If you say those are your lifts then i have no reason to not believe you. I was just stating that for everyone who doubts your lifts, pics/vids would be a good way to quiet them. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

then im sorry but i REALLY dont believe you. a 15 y.o. bench pressing 370 raw at only 220 bodyweight, not to mention near 600lb squat raw and a 550 deadlift. i can not believe that nor will i ever until i see some pictures

greathuskie
03-28-2006, 11:35 AM
agreed.

i just dont see how that is humanly possible tobe lifting that much at your age, at this rate youd set a squat and deadlift record before you are 25, and that just doesnt happen

Hey guys I just took 5 tablespoons of creatine, with 2 cups of water, waited 30 mins. Then I tested a new Rep Max on the bench and got 315 for 10 easy reps. So that is my new 1rm. Sweet, gotta edit my sig now.

Jinkies
03-28-2006, 12:28 PM
Let me tell you guys, yall are hilarious. Im not here to decieve, nor make claims to things I cannot do. I've trained harder then majority then anyone who doubts me to get where I am. I cant just go max any idea of the week so that I can feel better about yall believing me, my workout routine is alot more important than that. So once I post my videos are yall going to ask for my birthcertificate and school ID to? I get the same responses everytime im asked my maxes, If ANYONE lives near Austin Texas feel free to message me and I will show you no problem. I see only one thing comming out of this, i prove myself and then im accused of taking steriods. My hardwork isnt rewarded but cut down by dis believers everyday, Ill get the videos and ill make my stand but then i dont want to hear anything from anyone

what position do you play and It highly believable that those are your stats, they would probably break some records and dont BS you know they are amazing so theres no reason for you to act like they arent but im not so sure they would break nations records I mean where im down in so cal and theres a freshman receiver weighing 140 pounds at 5' 5 and he benches 250 and squats 350 which, proportionally speaking beats your stats, and also factor in that texas highschool football teams train way harder than those of any other state, im a 220 pound 5' 10 sophmore linemen but my stats are HELLA low so i dont want to post them up lol we also have a 15 year old sophmore about your height benching 300 so again its believable but If im not mistaken records dont go by weight class though they go by strength in general and I know some seniors who are benching 400 and squatting 600 so even though you would be beating them proportionally im not so sure it breaks records. but good job either way

whoever said you need to run a 4.6 to play fullback or linebacker is either stupid, or has a group of super-athletes to choose from. half the safties at the NFL combine hardly break 4.6's

I was talking to my Co-worker about the football team. He says he knows some of the guys on the team are benching 300+ lbs. and probably squats in the 400s.

Anyways my sig is a lie. I'm actually 5'11, 228 lbs. and I can bench 455 lbs. for 5 reps and Squat 755 lbs., and my Deadlift is at 805 lbs. Those PR's are a few months old I'm not sure if it's gone up or down.

damn you guys are freakin strong... y'all make me look like a piece of crap.

anyways i turned 18 a little over 1.5 months ago but my lifts were done when i was 17 (ironically i was stronger back then than now b/c i got lazy and stopped for 1/2 a year) all done @ 135-140 lbs. so let's say 138 to play it safe.

Bench: 205 tng
Squat: 315 parallel
Deadlift: 325 conventional

once again **** you guys! just kidding  keep lifting!

yo but i'd seriously like to see jinkies do all of his lifts because that's the craziest amount i've ever heard of a freshman lifting. i mean he lifts more than a 6'2'' 220 lbs of pure muscle senior i know who is a freaking beast. i don't know how i can't be skeptical about this until i see it.

Age 15
Grade Sophmore

Max Bench 240
Max squat 355

Best out of any sophmores going out for football

Best in my school 315x5 for bench(kids huge and has a scholarship)

I know one kid whose 15 and benches 300 pounds he weighs 330 pounds and his dad was a pro football player and his mom played soccer and she was in the pros till she had a knee injury so he has amazing genetics.

Compared to my peers in my class i'm stronger then most... Only slightly though

Bench: 165, I tried 175 but I just couldn't get it so i'm going on a strenght training for about 6 weeks then I max out again.
Dead Lift: 185 I've only done this twice
Squat: Unkown
Clean: unkown
My leg press however is at 365. My standing calf is at 400, I intend on breaking that mchien which goes to 580 by football season. And frankly those kinda weights your talking about are well, extereme to say the least, when I see a video i'll put my foot in my mouth.

I've been seriously lifting for about 3 months or so now. Been keeping records for almost a month. I'm 6 Foot, 200 Lbs.

I dont understand why anyone would be scared to max on deadlift or squat and not bench... your holding a big bar loaded with heavy weight... flat on your back.. above you...

Jinkies

Bench you could lift it off the power and not be able to control it, deadlift you either can pick it up or cant.

Im not scared of dropping weight on bench because of my spotter, but on deadlift if I mess my back up Im done with sports. Squats I will probably go for a max sometime soon once ankle heals up.

Everything is in my sig.

About Jinkies- I have no idea whether he is for real or not, but I am giving him the benfit of the doubt. It certainly is possible, some people are genetic freaks. I know someone who could Military Press over 300 at a BW of 220.

Well I am 16, at 164 pounds, but I have never actually maxed. Your guys lifts make mine look like **** though. haha. I rep 160 squat, 140 bench, and don't really do deads.. I gotta work on that. wow, what kind of routines are you guys on? and what about diet and supplements? Hearing what has worked for other teens would probably help more than what works for the big guys.

heres what you do with working out. (At least)

DO Squats. Bench, Deadlifts, not forgetting Mil Presses and Bent Over Barbell rows.!

if you want a routine try this one (mine) for one of your days.

Military Press

DB Bench

BB Bent Over Row

Deadlifts

putting deads after barbell rowing will certainly burn your back and biceps and give you some solid strength! As long as correct form is followed you will be fine.

Damn, assuming everyone in here is telling the truth, there are some pretty strong teens on this board. Where was all this knowledge when I was in high school a few years ago? Our coaches had us doing bench, squat, and power clean MWF. Half the time we never got to do all 3 because there were too many people for the size of gym we had. They never mentioned the importance of diet in regards to training either.

It's threads like this that keep me from ever posting my stats or ever posting a pic on here.

You should never feel shy about that bro everyone starts off somewhere; the teenagers on this forum arent in the norm, the reason you see so much is because the ones on here take lifting seriously ( took the time to find a bodybuilding forum to find others like em)
