Those of you have gone on 'cutting diets.'
When you are on your diet, do you find yourself hungry most of the day? Or try to make it that way?
I've only been at it for four days and I'm hungry most of the day. I ate at 7:30 this morning and by the time I got to work and sat down I was hungry again (8:30).
I know I've increased my metabolism just by eating so consitantly. Just curious what everyone else aims for when they are restricting calories.
(I'm eating a little over 2,500 calories/day right now)
**And I'm drinking well over a gallon of water a day. I've found that the more water I drink the hungrier I get.**

Yup I used to get very very hungry ..... and Angry !!!! :mad:

Nope, if ya look at my journal you can see my cal intake for the past week 1950-2100 or something like that and I am not hungry at all.
If you get hungry, eat some veggies (broc, cali), something you can carry around with you. Raw veggies seem to fill me up, and they are good for you !! Right guys and gals

If I ate when I was hungry, I'd be getting well over 3000 calories instead of the 2,500 im aiming at. ;)

I agree with what Chigs said but a high amount of green veggies will cause bloating and you'll be feeling uncomfortable.

I noticed i got used to it.
You may get the farts at first but after that it's plain sailing.

I burn about 2,000 cals a day, so if I want to cut I have to go to 1500. :eek: Yeah, it definitely gets hard. I'm always snappy when I'm hungry, so cutting has a negative effect on my family.

i'm not sure what kind of diet your on.but if hungers a problem try doing a ckd.my maintenance level is 3100 cal. and i cut to around 1500 and sometimes find it hard to eat that much.i take shots of olive oil to keep my caloric intake up.plus, how many diets do you know of that you get to pig out on once a week.i drop 3-4 pounds a week.i know some of it's muscle but i've been able to keep my poundages close to what they were before i started so i shouldnt have to much of a problem adding some lean mass after i'm done.
