i sometimes have to deal with this same problem and i have cable...it must be the enormous amount of members and the server being overloaded..

The server has been having some issues since the update, causing lag. Dan's been working on it, and had this thing smokin' Saturday afternoon. It hasn't been too bad, since. He can go into better detail about it but I'm sure he's not around right now. They are aware, though.

are they planning on fixing it? i LOVE this site, it's the best by far, but some people have major patience issues (uhhh, me...) and don't do well w/ that kind of stuff

By the way did you know that Dan is really a 9 year old boy?

Yeah, it's dead slow for me, too. Every other site is zipping right along, but WBB is at old people sex speeds.

Technology....
It's what keeps 22% of Americans, Canadians and Brits working...
If it all worked without issues, there wouldn't be job security..

should be better now?Seems exactly the same to me.

:whiner:

Edit: Posting seems a bit faster, actually. Maybe it's just a fluke.

Edit #2: Yep, it was just a fluke.

It seems fine whenever I'm browsing. Maybe a little slow, but definitely tolerable.

Yeah...the speed fluctuates from slow to fast...and sometimes this fluctuation is only minutes apart with the same amount of people online.

its again because of the way its storing the logs, I have emailed the host again.

I just restarted the server, and its blazing quick again so its clearly the log process. On their back.

How is everyone getting on now?

The host made some fixes, and at least for me, no slowness anymore?
