I weight-train 5 days per week, and try to eat 5 - 6 meals per day

briefly, it is like this:

1. Breakfast
2. Brunch
3. Lunch
4. Pre-workout meal
WORKOUT
5. Post-workout meal w/ protein shake
6. Nighttime snack

I've started to run, try to do so for about 30-40 mins each day, except on Legs day. When is the best time to do it? Between which of the above numbers would you place "RUNNING" ? Keeping in mind it's to burn the fat I gained from eating more.

Too much cardio. You'll burn muscle, not just fat. Not worth it.

could you suggest some type of moderation then?

I don't think it's too much cardio, since it is just half and hour and not overly-long. You can preserve/build muscle while doing cardio if you don't go overboard on the cardio.

Well, you're planning on RUNNING 30-40 minutes every day.

Hardly a good cutting strategy.

Cutting is heavy lifting during a caloric deficit. A little well-placed cardio can afford you a little dietary flexibility, but it's not a substitute for diet.

What will your calories be like? Macros?
