Using only dbs, I need to know how to work my lats as well as I would doing pull-ups, chin-ups, or using a cable machine. If anyone knows of any ideas, please respond. Thanks a lot!

with just DB's you can do Rows and pullovers... www.exrx.net to find out how to do them.

You can do dumbbell rows...I've attached a description below.

Start with left knee and left hand supported on bench
Back parallel to floor
Grab dumbbell and bring straight up to side of chest, pause for 1 second
Return dumbbell slowly 3-4 seconds and allow a stretch at bottom
Do not jerk weight up
Make sure elbows are at side of body and are not flared out
Repeat for the other arm

I would definatly consider investing in a pullup bar, weighted chins will do so much for your lats they should not be omitted from a workout plan. They are so simple and will really help build your back.

Just do your rows.

Thanks, I really need to find a pull/chin-up bar, but, I just don't know which one is the right one for me. Some say to get the one that attaches to the door, but, I think that one may fall down during my sets. Any other alternatives?

Unless you're really heavy or have really weak doors then I wouldn't worry about it.. Plus, you're not going to fall very far ;)
