hey,
i'm just starting my diet, but i don't have any idea what my maintanace calories are. i weight 273 pounds and my height is 6ft, can any one estimate it, or does it vary from person to person, and must be determined by trial and error. thanx any help would be appreciated.

It varies from person to person. You're going to have to find it through trial and error and as your metabolism/weight changes, so will your maintenance calories. I'm assuming you're tracking everything you're eating? What's your diet like? Are you lifting weights?

yeah im tracking everthing on fitday, im currently eating 3500calories a day, with 200grams of protein. i am weight-lifting, im following the wbb1 routine, and have been for about a week now

Wow...sounds like you're good to go, hehe. Don't give up. :) Finding the right caloric intake is always a bit difficult at times, but don't let it drag you down. Post a link to your FitDay.

its not bin good at the start but i'm getting there. it might sound ironic being fat, but its a chore eating soo much. lol i struggle to eat this much!!
