View Full Version : Ate Mickey D's yesterday for the first time in months.

I've been watching everything I eat now for several months. Let's just say that my diet prior to that was not something to be proud of.

Anyway, the family and I were on a trip the past several days and they kids wanted to stop at McDonald's. Since I hadn't eaten there in several months, I thought, "What the heck. One Big Mac isn't going to hurt."

Man oh man, how did I use to eat this junk all the freakin time??? I couldn't even get through half of it before my stomach started rebelling and making all kinds of gurgling and other strange noises. I thought a plain burger would be better. So, I tossed my Big Mac to my wife and got a plain burger. I'm not sure which was worse. I could taste the grease in that thing like I was licking it off the grill. I will admit that I do miss those piclkles. :)

I'm here to proudly proclaim that I am no longer a member of Big Macs Anonymous. I've kicked the Mickey D's habit to the curb forever.

Does anyone know how long it takes to beat a Nacho Bellgrande habit?

Just think of it this way:

You're eating clean. You body systems are cleaner than they've possibly ever been before. Everything is cleaner. All of a sudden...

I ate 10 Mr. Sub cookies yesterday in a sitting :drooling:, and the only reason i didn't have a big mac, was cuz i'd have to take a bus to get to McDonald's. lol i'm a fatty.

You are a very very evil man. McDonalds is quite possibly man's greatest creation.

I love burgers too much to hate them.

Everytime I go I get me a nice Super size double quater pounder with cheese and two big macs, its a wonderful feeling on days when everything has been defrosted just before you get there.

I had two McD hamburgers with just ketchup and a small vanilla shake. I spent most of the rest of the afternoon on the crapper or killing my poor co-workers (I *try* and make it to the lifeless server room with three fans before releasing canary killing levels of methane). Maybe a co-incidence, maybe not...

In a drunken haze last weekend, I scarfed a Big Mac and Big & Tasty in about 5 minutes.

My body did not rebel, but welcomed them like the grass welcomes the rain after a drought. I suppose everybody is different.

ohhhhhh hungry jacks double cheeseburger bacon with large french fries, large onion rings, large nuggets and a chocolate sundae.........

i do enjoy the occasional McD's run, although taco bell is my choice for late night runs. I also think that BK has better burgers, but that Chipotle rules all.

McDonalds is crap. Burger King owns it. At least in the UK that's the case. How can people love Mcdonalds anyhow? The meat they get is often from large ranches in what used to be the Brazilian rainforest, but they cleared it for ranching. :swear: tuttut

Triple meat, triple cheese, bacon WHATABURGER! :burger: :drooling:
