Hi I am 6' 240lbs. i want to get to 185-195lbs. In the past i have gone from 325 down to 205 then a few years later i was 260 now here i am. My questions are on what to eat and how much? i know about the 5-6 meals a day, but how much fat, carbs, and calories do i want to com sume per day? since i want to lose wieght is it smart to take the whey protien shakes? thanks in advance. i am somewhat new to this and apperciate any help.

look at these two stickey's that are located at the top of the Diet and Nutrition forum: Best of Diet and Nutrition threads, and So you need help with your diet...

You can take a whey shake if you need the protein, but a lot of people here say to use whole foods instead.

thanks, i will be lifting at the same time. i just do not want to gain any wieght. i want to lose it, acutally lose body fat.
