Maximum Protein *Brand* by Energie Nutrition

Has anybody tried this?

Their webpage isn't up (http://energienutrition.com/), and I can't find it on the internet. I bought it at GNC. The guy told me it was new and was their best protein that they sold. He told me it was metabolised much better than GNC or any of their other brands. It also contains a lot of amino acids, vitamins, and has less cholesterol and sodium than the other brands ( i checked).

It costs 50 dollars for 2 lbs. I told him I worked in the mall so he gave me a 20% discount. I told him that was still too expensive for 30 servings (40 dollars). He then gave it to me for 31 (while his manager was out).

So I am wondering if I got ripped off or if this will actually be that much more quality.

Well it seems like if you bought a lot of cruddy protein it would be like injesting LITTLE protein as opposed to getting a little less easily taken protein and injesting it all.

GNC employees are payed on commission (sp?). That means the more they get you to perchase the more money they see in their pay check.

When shopping for supplements, GNC employees are not the best people to take advice from, unless you have a lot of money to waste.

I don't think anyone really argues if a protein label, jug, or brand has cruddy protein.

They are all relatively the same. Lowest at what 72% bioavaliable, the highest in the 80%'s. doesn't matter.

The percentages you are referring to have nothing to do with bioavailability they are the percentage of protein by weight for the respective products. You see, there are other things in your protein powder such as ash that account for a percentage of the powder by weight.



For the thread starter, buy Nitrean and get the best product on the market for the money (bar NONE).

You can piss your money away on inferior products or you can buy the best. MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE!

They receive a percentage of all GNC BRAND products only. So here's a little secret, if they are really pushing a 3rd party brand they are either getting a few bucks for it or it just really works. When you buy at any vitamin store always ask to speak to the most experienced person, which isn't always the manager. Everyone's body is different and reacts to supplements and foods differently. After sampling dozens and dozens of different brands of proteins I've found one that- at least at this point in time- is complementing me very well. With all the hype in the billion dollar supplement industry there's alot of lying.

Some products have a spiff or PM as GNC calls it. When I worked there muscle tech gave us directly $2 for selling Nitro Tech.

This is enough to make shopping there like walking through a mine field. Then again if you are going to a store for advice you deserve to get ripped off.

I hate GNC. My roommate ONLY buys GNC branded **** and for the most part, it's crap. I gave him a Nitrean shake in water one day and he didn't believe me that it was just protein in water. He thought it was in milk with sugar added.

Better idea read up on this website make your own choices on what supplements you want. Who cares who the "knows the most" in a supplement store, THEY'RE THERE TO SELL SUPPLEMENTS, not help you make educated choices on supplements.

I was in GNC a while ago picking up some fish oil and the manager there was like need and multi's. I told her my diet is fine and i get all my nutrients from food. Shes like well you should really look into buying a multi just incase.

Strange. The FTC has ruled that paying "push money" by a manufactuer to a retailer in order to suggest a product as an unfair and deceptive practice, and therefore illegal under section 5 of the FTC act. If they want to do this then the retailer must inform the customer that they get paid extra to sell this product. The reasons are as stated above, that it makes the employee possabily lie or suggest a product just to get money instead of actually helping the customer.

OK im here to settle this once and for all. My best friend works at GNC and he tells me about all their good and bad stuff. He doesnt bull**** me because he sells to me as an employee, so he doesnt make any commission off what I buy. The truth is Maximum Protein has a very low caloric count and also gives about 44 grams of protein in one drink made with two scoops. I have noticed significant gains since I started using maximum protein together with NO-Xplode and glutamine. Another plus is it actually tastes really good. I dont know about strawberry, but vanilla and chocolate are really good. But for real, its awsome protein that builds lean muscle since it doesnt have too many calories.

I can get 10lbs of Optimum Whey for ~$50 with shipping. So please tell me why this protein product is worth 5 times as much.

i got 5 lbs for 35$ from GNC 100% whey protein 20grams a serving 94 servings ill be taking 3 servings a day it was a lot cheaper then the 60 grams 14 servings for like 50$

But I am going with True Protein stuff right now- cheaper than ALN. But I will probably get nitrean soon.

I went to GNC and and got 2lbs of maximum protien for 19.99. Ive been taking it for about 2 weeks now and i'm already starting to see a difference. Also, I have a friend who's been taking it with NO-Explode for about a year and he's pretty jacked

You operate under a misconception that all supplements are equal especially when it comes to protein. You could not be more wrong for many reasons.
