View Full Version : Body Weight and Sledgehammer Exercises

I just stumbled on some fun resources, so I figured I'd share them.

http://www.beastskills.com: a bunch of tutorials on body weight exercises that look pretty solid.

http://www.geocities.com/ltgodfrey/lever.html some fun lever exercises with a sledgehammer (also includes links to nail bending).

Edit: fixed the sledgehammer link (had a ":" at the end of html)

Beastskills is cool.. but they seem just like Gymnastics moves.. not much lowerbody work on that site..

and the other link seems to have been taken down by Yahoo...

I think I am going to go ahead and order a set of the rings.....What $55 really anyways. Looks like a great addition to my workouts.

BTW.....here is another link to the sledgehammer exercises

Some of those hammer drills look like a good way to end up with a concussion.

Not EXACTLY on topic.. but do you guys know of a site with some decently priced and stable rings for doing muscle-ups/etc? None in my gym but I was thinking there might be some attachable to a pullup bar or something similiar. I'm really looking into some more GPP/crossfit techniques and the rings are something I'd love to have.

You can make your own quite functional rings for about $25 too. And I use a climbing oriented product: Nicros Pump Rocks, about $25 without webbing.
