Hey, i searched "best wrist wraps" and "best knee wraps" and found notta. I'm geting to heavy enough weight that sometimes my joints are bothering me a bit on heavy weeks and I need some wraps to help support my wrists and sometimes my knees/ankles. What are the best brands to get and where should I get them? Thanks.

Are you looking to just use them in the gym or in competition?

Just in the gym. As you can see from my sig, i dont lift huge weights like those powerlifters but it's big for me. Usually I work with 3x3 or 5x5 or something similar to that. I do not compete, this is just to keep me healthy and prevent injuries and help heal current irritations.

I could use a good source for knee wraps as well. Or brands...or whatever. There's a BIG 5 here that sells that kind of stuff.

I have 2 pairs of Inzer wrist wraps and a pair of Inzer knee wraps and I love em, especially the wrist wraps. Not too expensive either, http://www.inzernet.com/search_results_wraps.asp?txtsearchParamTxt=&txtsearchParamCat=5&txtsearchParamType=ALL&txtsearchParamMan=ALL&txtsearchParamVen=ALL&txtFromSearch=fromSearch&iLevel=1

Should I even bother with wraps with my lifts right now, or wait for 100lbs+ on everything?

I use the wrist wraps when I bench heavy because I mean im not that big a guy and thats alot of weight on my wrists and with my wide grip the pressure starts to irritate my wrists. I try to use them as little as possible to develop good wrist strength but when I do heavy singles (usually anything 300lbs+). I wouldnt get them and depend on them but it cant hurt to use them to max out. I've really only used knee wraps 2-3 times.

i only use them when maxing or at meets but i love the inzer wrist wraps.

i have the inzer knee wraps but havent really used them yet.

So it sounds like Inzer is the way to go then, whats a good length for a guy like me? I'm 175 5'10 with pretty low BF at the wrists/hands.

just get the regular length, thats all the more most federations allow.

Well, I don't compete so I dont think the federations would care :D Is regular 20 inches?

I would just get the 20", I have 2 pair and they feel great.

I just have a cheap pair of Harbinger knee wraps. I only use them for free squats over 450 which I don't do very often (I usually squat off a box).

Is there any stores that you can buy these Inzers at or do you have to get them off the internet?
