Ive been working out 3 days a week for the last 2 and a half months. Ive put on 5 kgs and increased my size and strength. I know my gains would be much better if I would just get off my lazy ass and EAT but Im getting really sick of Chinese food (read my sig line) and there arent a whole lot of high cal snacks lying around. I dont have any "before" pictures so I guess I will use this set for future reference. "See baby, this is what your granddaddy looked like way back in '06 when he was smaaallll." Heh heh heh.

you have good potential.. i can see some mass that wants to come out on ur upper body.. but WTF is that on your back???

Your upper body is very similar to mine but your legs.. OMG!

Squats! Ass to floor, short heavy sets. Hack squats, lunges, straight-legged deadlifts. Lots of them with plenty of calories, protein and rest in between.

Like I said, my upper body is similar to yours and I weight a good 10kg+ more than you because my legs are 25" and calves are 16". That's the key to weight gain.. the largest muscles in your body and therefore the heaviest and most powerful!

Yeah man, legs like a 12 year old girl. My wifes legs are bigger than mine, and shes a 100 pound Chinese girl! LOL. Seriously, they are....

Oh yeah, my roommate Nathan (ottomanart) pointed out that we have the same leg press (about 280kg) and he's 40 pounds heavier than me. Maybe I shouldnt call them chicken legs...how about "steel toothpicks?" hahaha

I live with AlecB... I have been feeding him weightgainer protien shakes every night for the last month with good results. I just need him to eat more when I am not around!

Maybe I can talk him into using a chocolate IV or something.

I agree with both of these statements. If he likes the tattoo who cares what it looks like....it's for him anyway not anyone else.

back looks good. you already know what you have to work on. id say make sure you do straight-leg deadlifts to be sure to hit those hamstrings.

don't worry about the legs man.. Just wear long shorts like I do and work your calves. No one will ever no. It will be our dirty little secret. Upper body is coming along nicely.

teaching English. I graduated from VA Tech in December '03 with a biology degree. Not many jobs availible and I wanted to do some travelling (plus Id been to China once before and had a blast) so I found a job over here. Me and my buddy Nathan came in August '04 and we've been here ever since but Im going back in a week.

Props to you for living out in China, bro. Like others have mentioned ass to grass squats and sldl is pretty much all you need to blow up your legs, plus calf raises. Keep it up, you have the right attitude towards working out, I'm sure you will be swole in due time
