So as of right now, I am not even considering taking steroids. I'm 16, 5'11" and around 163 pounds, so i've got a long ways to go before I even need to consider it.
Now that i've got that out of the way......Eventually, maybe in 6-8 years, I may consider taking steroids. I would like to start learning now, so when the time comes, I don't jump into it, and seriously regret it later on. So basically what I'm looking for is a good site/thread that explains alot of the basics of steroids. I've looked through the stickys, and it answered some of my questions, but i still have some like i have no clue what to do for a cycle, what kind of anabolics are most effective, major side effects, kind of gains to expect, etc. etc. So if anyone could provide me a link/explain some of this basic info, I'd greatly appreciate it (Sorry if this has been asked before, I used the search, but didn't find much of what i was looking for).

Did you read the stickies?

first, let me say that i find it *highly* doubtful that you'll wait 6-8 years if you are overly concerned with gaining as much knowledge right now as you seem to be. that being said, i would look at meso-rx.com as an introduction.
also, i would recommend shifting your focus to understanding all the intricacies of diet and nutrients (because i sincerely doubt you already have an in-depth understanding of nutrition). you'll find that this will be invaluably more beneficial to both your short-term and long-term goals than reading about "what to do for a cycle, what kind of anabolics are most effective, major side effects, kind of gains to expect, etc".
What Narc said.
When I was 16 I was thinking about it and I said I wouldn't do it until I was 21. That idea lasted for about 6 months. :study:

hm, ok, i'll check that site out, thanks. And I *have* thought about taking steroids before, but have always decided against it. As of right now, I wanna wait a good while, but if I *do* decide to take them earlier, I want to know full well what I'm getting into, so I don't regret anything later in life.
And your correct, I don't have an indepth understanding of nutrietion. I have the basics, eat 500-1000 calories more than you burn per day, 1-1.5g protein per body weight, etc. but there is still a ton I could learn, which is why I look over the diet & nutrietion forum all the time :D
read the stickies, use the search function and check out meso. if it looks like you've done the least bit of research we'll be happy to answer any other questions you have.
