Hey guys, after eating my breakfast about 40 minutes later I do my lifting. However, like half way through I"m completely tired. Is there anything to safely, naturally boost my energy??? Here is my current breakfast:

4 Egg whites, 2 turkey sausage links
Bowl of oatmeal or bowl of kashi go lean crunch with 2% milk

caffeine. That is also a pretty poor pre workout meal. Stick with some simple carbs and protein.

Green tea, coffee, or a caffeine supp.

Perhaps you'd benefit from moving your workout to later in the day?

I do a bowl of oatmeal, bannan, 2 eggs (with yolk) and a small cup of coffee. It works good for me. I would deffinaty look into getting more simple carbs in there is you are going to do an early morning work out.

You can also try half a can of redbull mixed with your gym juice (not sure how you feel about that but it'll get you going).

I do eat simple carbs. I eat oatmeal.

Oats are primarily starches, ie: complex carbs.

I would add a dex shake (~40g's), during the workout.

You could also eat more before bed.
