I could eat one everyday. They are my favorite place to get a sandwhich from.

I ALWAYS get Publix Ultimate on WW bread.
Swiss cheese
Mayo
Lettace
Tomato
Onions
Pickles
Olives
Salt and Pepper
Oil and Vinegar
Paramesan cheese and Oregano

I seriously go into another world when eating this sandwhich.

I think California has alot less franchises than other places because land is so small. When I went to Texas to visit relatives they had stuff I couldn't even imagine and like a sports nutrition store on every block.

A sandwich with neither meat nor fish is fallacious.

I spit at you.

Ooooooh, I see.

I live in PA, one of those non Publix states.

Are they pretty much like Subway or Quiznos?

me too.

they are way better than subways and blimpies. i think it's because they use real bread. i don't like the way they shred their lettuce tho. they really should put it in the hobart. minor quibble.

Never heard of it. I've recently rediscovered Subway with a passion. I get the steak and cheese, foothlong on whole wheat with a bunch of fixings. Excellent.

Wow this is crazy........If you think subway is good, wait till you try a Publix sub.

I really think Publix will be THE grocery store. The atmosphere in a Publix is like no other, its bliss.

Most grocery stores are regional for a variety of business reasons. I would be really surprised if Publix ever expanded very far out of the southeast.

That said, their subs are incredible. If you request it specially they'll take a grilled chicken, chop it up, throw it in buffalo sauce, and use it as the meat in your sub.

I like them better because their subs are huge. I think I eat them too fast to notice the bread

LOL great post man. You are absolutely right. I've recently been wondering if there will ever be a seperate Publix Subs franchise. I always imagined a place called "Sublix". But yeh, Publix will make your sub HOWEVER you want it. I always ask for extra lettace.
