I have cut caffeine out of my daily pre-workout routine and as a result have been having a number of poor workouts.

What do you eat or supplement before you workout, for best results when cutting?

I train in the afternoon.

About an hour before I train, this is what I eat: http://www.wannabebigforums.com/showthread.php?t=79130

Just before I leave for the gym, I pop my caffeine tablet.

yeah creatine preworkout+whey+CHO works pretty good. Just recently I've been doing water, creatine, green tea extract, and honey. The reason for that is doing the CF workouts I was getting terrible cramps (i think from the whey).

Why did you stop taking you caffeine?

1 glass apple juice with 5g creatine
1 medium banana covered in peanut butter with lots of oats stuck in it.
Lots of water

I eat this about half an hour before my workout

Wouldn't you be better off without the peanut butter?

Is there a reason the peanut butter should be left out of the pre-workout meal? I eat two tablespoons of peanut butter, 1 slice of wheat bread and a banana about an hr before working out...

1 cup FF plain yogurt + 1 cup raw oats 1.5 to 2 hours before workout.

peanut butter isn't the best of choice because of the fat content (digests slowly). If you eating it 1hr or so before workout and don't get sick then its probably ok. I would just play around with it, but the best choice of course is whey and some kind of fast absorbing CHO.

whey and milk about 30 mins prior

Purely for taste, plus it makes the oats easy to eat. Maybe it isn't the best choice but it works for me.

I think natural PB tastes much better than regular PB and it's better for you. If you eat natty PB for 3 weeks, you'll hate normal PB. That happened to me at least and used to eat PB all the time.

creatine in the morning with a protein shake.... eat a regular meal a couple hours b4 working out.... then a protein shake and a little more creatine with maltodextrin postworkout....

in total, there is 5 g of creatine daily

I don't know if you were talking to me but if you were I do use natty peanut butter and I like it a lot better than normal too. Sorry about that, I should have mentioned it.

Depends on if its a morning session or evening.

If morning, a Nitrean shake + a can of tuna and some rice and salsa. Maybe some fruit.
If evening, typically I'll have had a grilled chicken breast sandwich or a burrito with rice and beans an hour before the session. (I eat while I'm at work.)

protein,oats,creatine.

If i'm way to tired to move, i'll take 2 caffeine pills but it's rare,i get way to jumpy on those!
