As titles states. Also complex or simple ?

That's a really open-ended question.

You could pretty much pick a number a see if it works for you. Personally, I have 100g of dextrose.

But, I could probably drop this to 70, add calories in somewhere else, and still have the same results.

I handle carbs well so I prefer to keep them high.

Trial and error with guidance.

Try 2 protein scoops (2/3 cups) of dextrose to start off with. That's 80g carbs.

See how you feel, etc.

isn't that a bit too many carbs on a cut ?
how many carbs / lb of body weight should one take in on a cut ?
I don't want to trigger an insulin spike, especially since I usually eat my post workout meal around 8-9.

Wouldn't an insulin spike be ass backwards progress towards my goal of losing weight?

Not for me.

Not to be unhelpful, but I don't do individualized dietary consultation and analysis on here. Built sure does, so she might chime in. She really needs to start a business doing it.

Ya hear that, Built?

LOL!

I hear. I hear. <rubs hands together with delight, laughs maniacally... >

How much carb? As much as you can afford, calorie wise.

I find too much carb makes me hungry, slim handles 'em better than I do. Carbs on a cut won't make you fat - calories do that.

Hey Slim,

So the scoop in my Nitrean jug is ~40g of dextrose? Saves me from having to drag the postage scale home from work.

Using the typical dextrose supplier's (NOW, or supplement direct) posted nutrition facts as a conversion factor, 1/3 cup (the typical protein scoop) comes to 40g grams.

Working great so far. My brain hasn't stopped working yet.

Apparently mine has, because I just realized that I have confirmed the 40g = 1/3 cup meaurement with a food scale.

Most times I use the scale when preparing shakes.

True Protein's Dextrose is 50 g of carbs per 70 cc scoop (most any protein scoop).

OK, 40-50g is close enough for what I'm using it for. Thanx guys.
