Is it better to take just a BCAA supplement or a whey protein shake before AM cardio?
I was told its not good to consume a whey protein because your body will use it as energy instead of your fat stores.
I am trying to cut and i do my cardio on a empty stomach.

Whey works great. The body uses very little protein for energy during exercise. You're more likely burning off your glycogen stores first then the fat stores (depending on duration, intensity, etc). And you should be doing the am cardio to create a bigger caloric deficit not fat burning.

yeh definatly have the protein shake. i wouldnt do cardio on an empty stomach at all.
