Oook guys. I think i've come along way since my last post on here. Anyways; how do you guys go about asking your doctor for blood tests? I mean its got to be nerve racking simply because you dont know if you can trust them or not. I mean what do you even say to them? "Hey doc im using steroids, I hope your not one of those people who condone the use of them..."
But yea how do you even know you can trust your doctor to keep it in confidence?

Aren't they legally bound to keep any health information you share with them private?

Find a doc using or that has used himself.
Easier said then done though probably.

Well, assuming you want to get baseline values and everything comes back normal, you don't have to tell them anything. Just say you are looking after your health and want to make sure things are alright.
Now if you get a test during PCT and your values are way off, then I'm not sure if you will have to provide an explanation or not.

Go to your doctor and tell him/her that you've never had any bloodwork done and you would like to get some. Tell him you lift weights and would like to know what your test levels are.
Not that complicated.

Well I havent started using steroids yet but I just want to know as much as possible before I start. I've been seeing this one doctor for 8 years now. You know a family type doctor. My mom likes him (and so do I) hes great. I dont know though if he'd let me come back to him if he ever found out but I dont think i'd trust any other doctor but him. I dunno.....I mean hes never not helped me out but he IS a doctor and he may feel he has some moral obligation to tell my parents and maybe the authorites that im using.

Most people get blood tests done for health reasons (lipids, liver, kidney) and not to test for hormone levels, those tests are normal for any type of overall physical so it shouldnt be a big deal to ask your doc for normal bloodwork. Very few people have problems with PCT as long as they have been doing things well.
And he YOUR doctor you should be able to ask him for whatever the hell you want as long as it's legal and your willing to pay for the tests. If he gives you guff go get a new doc.
