I've recently ran into a problem. The only time i can go to the gym is about 2.5-3 hours after i wake up. Im waking up at 6 and any earlier will take away from my rest during the night. MY question is, what will be the best way to eat before this workout. Im bulking and will consume all the neccessary macros throughout the day but im confused about how i can get the most out of my workout being that it is so soon after i awake. Thank you.

A pre workout shake when you wake up. Gym afterwards.

Or, meal when waking, then pre shake, then work out.

Id hit a small meal when you wake straight up protein and carbs. then a protein drink during the workout maybe depending on how your stomach is. i cant eat or drink much before a workout due to a girly stomach but sipping a protein drink thoughout is ok.
