well, unfortunately beach season i coming near, and i don't have the waist i want. my stomach area i'm fine with...i've got something of a six-pack and not much excess lard. it's my love handles that mess up my shape, i mean these things are huge! when you look at me from the back it looks...how can i put this...unsexy. i know that my diet is what's gonna do it, but i'm just hoping someone here knows a tip of some sort. thanks in advance for the advice!

Really man, I don't of anything except cutting calories. I feel for you cause them things are like the last to go.

tell me about it! i had big ones even back in the day when i was a skinny guy and ate about 1000 cals a day!

when i'm bulking i try to get in 4500cals/day, whereas now that i'm cutting i'm trying to get near 3500cals/day. i lift 4 days a week, but i don't do any extra cardio. i do weighted crunches twice a week, ha! like that's gonna help.

That sounds right to me. It takes time to lose the weight you want, especially at 1-2 lbs per week. If you get really desperate, you could try something like PSMF...but thats pretty intense and you could sacrafice some LBM.

Crunch - your plan sounds good.

Toss in a few HIIT sessions a week as you stall, and you might consider doing, say, 12 minutes of fast incline walking after your workouts to create a small additional deficit as well as burn off FFAs mobilized by your lifts.
