View Full Version : Just want to say thank you, before and after

I don't know if this is where I should be posting this, I figure the nutrition part, because its where I really read the most, but I want to say thank you to everyone here I have been reading a lot, and absorbing it. Many things I have learned has helped me in the biggest way, although I'm far from many of you here, I am still very proud of the results that I have gained in the last 6 months. Also thanks to built, great advise.

I started in Early Dec at 205 and overweight, although I was exercising regularly, I have never lifted weights nor was I dieting properly.


My goal was to get down to 175 by 6/15 and be lean looking, well I have reached my goal in weight and am a month ahead of schedule. However I still have some love handles that I would like to get rid off. Since then I have been lifting about 3-4 times a week, jump roping almost everyday, taekwondo twice a week, boxing once a week, normal activities and somewhat strict dieting. Can't forget the late addition of being diligent on fitday.com. But most of all I'm realizing that I can never allow myself to get like that again. I still have a ways to go yet, but I am very happy with the results so far, and am feeling a different type of confidence that I haven't felt before. Just want to say thank you from everyone.

thank you guy very much, I can't thank you guys enough, these results only motivate me to better myself, and the advise from people here allow me to feel confident about the decisions that I have been making, I think thats a huge factor for me here. Thanks again.

I plan to bulk from 9/1 to 1/15 is that enough time to bulk? I was thinking bulking up to 195 from 170 maybe 200 and lift heavier weight also. So Anyone have a bulking plan for me? :clown: :hello:

Great transformation brother, you should be proud!

As for bulking, just follow Baby Got Back (sticky in BB & Fitness forum) and gain weight.

hmm my new goals are to cut down to 170 by the end of summer although I did just gain a few from this past weekend, but I'm in no hurry got plenty of time. After that I plan to bulk until december up to about 190-195, and just lift heavy low reps. My main goals are to build my lats more, and chest. Also develope the ab muscles more probably start ab exercises about twice a week. And then in January start cutting down to 180-185 around there. Hopefully I will get bigger. These are the measurements I have now
Arms 15 1/8"
chest 41"
waist 31"
thigh 26"
calves 19"

Hopefully I will get to about 16" arms if I'm lucky, 42" chest, and maybe 30.5" waist, don't really care too much about my legs, they are decent as they are from all the years of taekwondo. Thanks for all the supports guys.
