Hola...

Here's my pic thread.

My first set of pics are prebulk at 178

Next set are as a fatty at 204

Current Pics are at 190

I think I need to lose 10 more pounds before I look right. I really wanna flatten my midsection and get my abs out.

Set 1 @ 178

Good progress.. traps are huge. Legs look a little lacking though, but you didn't put proper leg pics up so I can't really tell.

Your chest has zero fat! That seems to be the case with most black people. I wish I had that genetic problem. You look great dude!

I think you are probably lower than 15% bodyfat, because, you have absolutely not fat on your chest and your traps are pretty well defined. You only have belly fat, and even then, there doesn't seem to be that much of it. It could be the way you store fat as well.

I store fat everywhere except the arms and legs. So my chest, lats, belly and lower back all store fat there. I guess that is the difference in body types, which makes bodyfat very difficult to guess. But whatever the numbers are, you look great man. Keep on cutting and you should be pretty ripped out shortly.

If your fat is not evenly distributed like it is on most people, those BIA devices do not work well. My guess is that you probably store more fat on your legs and stomach while the rest of your body is pretty lean.

Also, when doing those BIA testers, most of them are configured for people who do not have much muscle.

When I first started working out, my scale had two modes. Regular and Athlete mode. The difference is about 33% or so. Which means, the BIA device would have most likely put you at 16%, give or take a few points. BIA is not real accurate for the actualy body fat content, but it is a great tool for measuring progress.

Clubber - nice progress!

Now, the thing about BIA devices is they measure the resistance through your body and compare it with the resistance through water. The premise is that muscle cells hold more water than fat.

Problem is, if you're at all carb-depleted (which you often are on a cut), you'll appear to have less water.

Which is interpreted as less muscle.

So you get all carbed up, you look like a bloated whale, BIA says you're ripped.

You carb-deplete and look flat as hell, BIA says you're a beached whale.

Go by your pictures - and they're showing excellent progress! Keep going!

Good work dude, you could easily have bulked past 204 and worked the legs real had to add some read size. Good shape and size in the traps and chest though, i would say you would need at least anothe 10pounds off to get the abs up but keep going see how ya find things..

I wouldn't worry bout what it says. My guess is that your around 13-14%
and my guess is that after 5-7lbs you will have your abs out already.
Just remember that if you train your abs hard they can show through more fat. So someone who trains abs ALOT can have a higher percentage and still have visable abs as opposed to someone who has a lower percentage and not have as much visable if that makes sense.

P.S: your looking awsome.

I'd gues 15% as well..very nice progress, though.

He does have fat on his chest. I went back to look, expecitng striations..lol..there's enough fat there that he's not some kind of genetic freak, and it looks pretty evenly distributed to me.

Your body looks very similar to mine. I'm persian (iranian) which I think is considered caucazoid though. Maybe theres some arab black in me or some kind of other middle eastern or something I don't know...

mmm or maybe we just have similar training histories? I really think the genetic advantages of the black uberathlete are overstated (but that's a whole 'nother thread). I tend to think that my training has a bigger impact on my physique than my race. Personally I've got 6.75" wrists, underdeveloped legs and crappy joints. I was 5' 2 till I was 16. Im currently 5"10 @ 24.

I do tend to think that I carry most of my fat in the midsection relative to my chest and limbs. I woulda kept bulking past 204 but the gut and ass were getting out of control(see attatched pic).

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm gonna keep at the diet for another 4-6 weeks.I've started taking creating to try to preserve mass and add to the intensity of my routine It's so tough not to obsess over the scale but it's proven to be a poor indicator of progress. . I'll post pics once i'm done.

Peace
