When someone posted that other vid of the dumbell snatch I was gonna say that looks like a great way to injure yourself.

The moral of the story is that should not try to muscle up an olympic lift.

You could say the same thing about squats or deadlifts. :alcoholic

That's what you get clownin' for the camera, and not concentrating on what you're doing.

It just seems like if the weight got away from you and you had on straps it could pull your shoulder in the wrong direction before you could let go of the dumbell.

And this is exactly why you should never do olympic lifts with straps.

The main reason that olympic lifts are "safe" is the fact that you can drop the bar at any point.

man i just watched this again! holy crap it hurts! lol
I snatched a 92lb dumbell the other day, but i couldnt imagine snatching a 130lb dumbell. Its crazy! I know i will get upto 130 one day, but christ it looked like that guy hadnt been working upto 130lbs,looked like he just tried it out of the blue.

Didn't see anything wrong with his 300 push press. The 130 snatch should have been ditched as soon as he noticed it wasn't locked out in one motion. He also didn't jump soon enough on the snatch, not explosive enough.

The carama is so far away are we show its as much as we say it is? I mean IDK maybe that weight isn't as much as it says.;

And the best bit is bouncing the bumper plates after a PR.
