I have started doing the wbb 1 routine. I'm gonna bulk up, but I'm not sure on how much calories and protien I should be getting and what food and what times I should eat it and how many meals. I'm 18 and I weigh 145lbs and I want to get to 170-180 lbs. any tips?

1 to 1.25 g protein per lb. of bodyweight.

Read the "what a bodybuilder eats" sticky. Plan for something around five to six meals a day. Be sure to track your calories on Fitday. Optimally, you should be eating something every three hours or so.

For instance, this is today...

1: Nitrean shake w/olive oil and oats, banana
2: Grilled chicken breast sandwich with peppers, lettuce and cheese
3: Chicken, beans and cheese burrito; red beans and rice, w/lettuce, tomato, sour cream and pickled peppers
4: TBD
5: TBD
6: TBD

Typically I have a shake and something quick when I leave the house. An hour later I'll have an egg white omelette or something along those lines. Got caught up with work so I had to do something else.

I'll have a snack around 4:30 or 5, dinner around 8 and a bedtime snack around 11.

And then I get to do it all over again tomorrow. :D

Have fun and good luck. I wish I was 18 again.

I just used this Recommended Daily Calorie Intake Calculator. it said for me to gain weight I should get 4000 calories, 560gm carbs, 160gm protien, and 130 gm fat. Does that sound right for me? I'm age: 18, 5ft 10in, 145lbs.
