how do you? the massive change in weather here in australia is driving me crazy. the last time i was massively hungry, thinking of food all the time and eating a lot was 3 years ago when i was in australia for a year too. that was when i went up to 30% bodyfat (eek).

timeline in case you are confused:
2002-2003 australia 30%
2003-2006 tropical exercised and dieted down to ~18-20%
2006-now have moved up to ~25%

Ahh, it's getting nice and warm here in the US. I think it was up to 90 today! Hot and humid!

How cold does it get? From what I'm used to, -40 is cold. -30 Celcius or -20 is pretty decent for winter.

I guess I just get used to it and eat a bit more.

Winter for me means hockey season and I live to compete so I look forward to most winters. As for my eating I do end up eating more since I usually bulk then but I also do alot of running outdoors in the winter.

right now it's about 18 degrees celcius during the day and can go down to 4 at night. not that cold compared to where you are heh but really cold for someone who's from a tropical country.

i don't want to bulk though, because i don't like cutting.. and anyway i already have to cut since i'm up to about 25% now :(

Winter is a tough time since I can't get outside. Most everyone at my gym seems to fatten up a bit in the winter.

Yeah, but don't think I wanted a "My country is colder than yours contest", as it is relative to what you are used to.

I find that doing cardio kept me warm throughout the day if I was cold. Be sure you keep lifting, and throw on a sweater if you need to.

I don't let it bother me one bit. Throw on your Underarmour, your sweats and a neat beanie and hit the track.

Eat eat eat and exercise so that you're always warm. And wear socks when sleeping.

It's just funny how we hear from people preparing to suffer winter while we're just getting out of it over here.

18 celcius?! That's shorts weather here! Omg! So warm! ; ____ ;

4 degrees is a little chilly at night.. nothing a sweatshirt won't fend off, though!

What really gets me during winter is the lack of sunlight... I think I have seasonal depression... if it can be called anything. I really need the sun to keep me wanting to get up and get going for the day. >:(

I cope with it the same way I cope with everything else: alcohol and deadlifts.

im guessing you're in sydney? im in tassie and it was -3 over night here last night, apparantly -10 at some place down south. about 11 in the day time. 18 is about all it gets to in the summer in tassie haha.

anyway i actually find it harder to eat in winter because its cold i spend most of my time indoors, on the couch or in front of my computer so i dont burn much energy. i am getting fat but thats just cos im on a bulk atm.

hey bigedge :) perth here. wow -3! didn't know it goes that low there.

yeah maybe because it's warmed indoors your appetite isn't huge. i spend about 40mins-1hr walking to and from uni everyday so BRRR.
