Can anybody list foods with high amounts of protein in it? Like
2% Milk-8Grams Per serving.
Also, I'd like to know what "Brown Rice" is good for?

Tuna, Salmon, Beef Jerky, Cottage Cheese, Cheese, Steak, Chicken, and Peanuts are all good sorces of protien. Brown rice is a good carb source and since its brown it has added fiber.

Tuna (about 1 cent per gram of protein)
Milk and Peanut butter
That's basically what I get all my protein from.

I get all of my protein from skinless chicken breasts(25-30g), cottage cheese(16g/serving), skim milk, and some cold cuts every now and then, usually pan roasted turkey. I stay away from fat free meats, its usually highly processed and contains sugars and crap that you could never understand.

Thanks for all the tips, I think my top choices would be Cottage Cheese, Chicken Breast, Milk, and Peanute Butter. I'm going to check that site out now.

just poked around that usda link....and saw the protien in hamburgers, and its pretty substantial
can this be considered an acceptable addition to a diet?
say if you make them at home on a grill

Brown rice doesn't have added fiber.
Yes, goober, burgers are a huge addition to your diet. Fire up that foreman ;)

well i definately was worried about the fat intake from eating hamburgers, but its good to know that i can have em as a source of protien :)

I'm eating cottage cheese like all day now, very good for protein. Also Eggs for breakfast. And Peanute butter sandwiches with milk all day, everyday.

i tried to eat some eggs, but considering id need 200g....6g is a far cry from what i need
so far the most feasible way to get protien that ive found....along with the hamburger meat, is tuna (i put that on weat bread which is 4g P a slice, and then put peanut butter on it.....sounds sick, but the taste is good and thats a ton of protien)
and of course chicken :)
i dont get why people eat oatmeal in the morning though, cerals like total have about the same amount of protien and a LOT more vitimans
