I dont have the exercises filled in yet but im going to be doing the main 3 lifts along with some olympic lifts (overhead squatting clean and jerk etc) heres how the split looks

Legs
Chest/Biceps
Shoulders/triceps
Back

Rest

(repeat) im going to be doing hiit each day aswell but my main concern was having 5 days inbetween each time im hitting a muscle group; i can understand thats find for legs when you hit heavy in squat but for shoulder and chest and all will having 5 days rest between each workout not be helpfull? im working with heavy weights on each lift and trying to get a good burn but im just worried that the muscles might not grow if i wait to long

5 days rest is fine. Even a week would be fine. I only hit my shoulders and chest once a week.

ive just been brainwashed from my football coaches always talking about your body breaks down the extra muscle after three days of not working out

And remember, you're indirectly working your biceps during your back workout, and indirectly working your triceps during your chest workout... and so on. So theoretically you're working muscles at least twice a week.
