I'm trying to gain weight but I really want to run. Would there be anything wrong with running a couple times a week just as long as I eat more?
E.g. - run for 1/2 hour or so, then eat like 500 calories I wouldn't normaly eat to make up for it.
Seems like common sense, but just making sure.

As long as your eating more than your burning off, thats alrite. Eat eat eat. If you burn 500 calories on a bike ride, and you wanna gain weight, you eat 600+ calories to make up for it. (providing its lean meats, and healthy proper food.

perfect... thats wat i do, especially with playing soccer, basketball, etc..
