This is it boys and girls my first cut.
I am starting it tommorow 5-30-06 and will be ending it 6-8 weeks from that date. Depending of course on how the cut is going and how long I can stand it. I am confident that I will last through it and stay true. THERE WILL BE NO CHEATING DURING THIS CUT. Its gonna look like this:
Total cals: 2350
6 meals 390 cals at each.
39g protein Each Meal
30g carbs Each Meal
13g fat Each Meal
Was thinking this:
M1: 2 Scoop shake 1 tbs of olive oil 1 cup milk
M2: 2 Scoop shake 1 tbs of olive oil
M3: 2 pieces of chicken 1 cup rice 1 shot of olive oil 1tbs
End of school
M4: 1 piece of chicken .5 cups of rice
M5: 2 scoop powerade with creatine
M7: 2 scoop shake .5 cup carbo gain
M8: 1 piece of chicken .5 cup rice
M9: 1 scoop nuh nite protein 1 cup milk 1 tbs oil
I get this for the breakdown:
2340 cals total
76 fat 684
231 protein 924
183 carb 732
Starting weight: 190-193 BF estimate: 15-18

Like I said there will be no cheating. No cheating occured today followed the plan to a T. I'm not gonna lie so far today I drank at least 2 gallons of water to try and surpress the appitite. I know its only my first day but strength is good and enegry is good. I think the pak is whats saving my ass. God bless Animal baby.

Good luck dude, cutting sucks. I feel like such a small lil' pussy right now, strength is down, and to top it off I just sprained my AC joint (shoulder) so I can't lift heavy for awhile. :( I repeat, cutting sucks.
now you bitches know what elwood has been going through for the last 1 year +....
good luck again gutz everything looks solid. i think maybe having a cheat day 5 weeks in could be an idea just if anything to keep you sane. if not how about the odd carb refeed day for energy benefits and your metabolism as the cals are reasonably low.

Thanks for the support all. Hill I may do a carb refeed but definitly no cheat days. I'm already insane so I got nothin to lose lol ;). Anyway for this being day 2 I'm starting to addapt to the new diet. Yesterday I was getting pissed I was ****ing hungry at night. I gotta do what I gotta do. I figure if I can lose anywhere from 5-8 pounds of purely fat I'd be happy with this cut.
I refuse to go below 180. Absolutly refuse. I'd feel like such a lil pussy.
Oh just to note I've been getting even more sleep than usual 9 hours last night. I go to sleep at like 9 because I don't wanna stay up and be hungry.
EDIT: I wish I had a digital camera to take pics to note the end of the bulk but oh well.

Good luck with the cut Gutz, I can't wait to see the progress here.
How come you didn't ease into the cut more? Like, why didnt you slowly lower the calories until you got down to 2350?

All or nothin man. I just gotta stop being a pussy and take it like a man.
Experianced strength/enegry loss along with a really ****ty workout. So I'm at the moment getting upset and got that lost feeling. Remeber this is my first cut so its hittin me hard.
Weight today was 186! Ok thats 4 pounds in a few days. Someone ease my suffering here and please tell me it was most likly water weight?
Diet has been spot on. Although I think I'm gonna lower the fats and put more carbs in for the enegry factor.

The cut revamped:
Total cals: 2320
Per meal aiming for:
M1: 2 Scoop shake
M2: 2 Scoop shake
M3:2 Scoop shake
M4: 3 pieces of chicken 1 cup rice
End of school
M5: 3 pieces of chicken 1 cup rice
M6: 2 scoop powerade with creatine
M7: 2 scoop shake .5 cup carbo gain
M8: .5 cup rice 2 pieces of chicken 1 scoop shake
M9: 1 scoop nuh nite protein
In this revamp I upped the carbs and protein by a large amount. I was speaking to a guy that competes and by the look of him he knew what he was doing. So I'm going to try his style out for my first cut. Again no cheating. Just more carbs and protein.

Try and get some more fiber into you diet gutz, that might help with the hunger. Are you taking any supplementation for fiber? It seems extremely low with that diet.

Today the diet has been spot on. The upping of carbs and protein and lowering of fat has worked wonders. I got more enegry now than I did when I was bulking.
Weight today: 187.5 happy with this.

Glad you're getting the diet tweaked.
Maybe save a little extra food to eat at night when you're hungry. That's what I do.

Accually I like having alot less toward the night. I take my nuh nite shake at like 9 and hit the sheets right there. I've been getting 9+ hours these past few days.
But none the less a good idea. :)

The sleep part is something I really, REALLY have to work on.
I'm a "hungry at night" kind of person. I HAVE to budget for this, or I'm doomed.
lol i find as long as i have a decent meal about 8ish im ok if i save a protein drink for before bed. if i dnt do this and stay up late im very temtped to snack.

Question: Its better to keep your reps lower 8-10 when on a cut correct?

Lift heavy low reps, forces your body to hold onto LBM so with minimal calories fat is the only thing left to go. I would say 8 should be a roof on the reps, but their are lots of others on this site who know plenty more about cutting then I do.

Weighed in today: 184 not good. dropping weight too fast I think. So I'm gonna bump the cals up by 300 and see. Thoughts?

Are you weighing yourself with some consistancy (first thing in the morning with no clothes on)? I'm with WBBIRL on this one, its mostly water weight. Still, I would bump calories up a bit. I thought 2350 was too low right from the start; especially considering you just came off a diet of around 4500.

off day but looking in the mirror definitly losing the right kind of weight. Can faintly see top 2 abs.

Gonna try a PSMF diet for about 3 days or so...just to give that last effort before I bulk.
Gonna aim for this...
4 shakes (2 scoop) mixed with water. and 2 shakes (1 scoop) mixed with water. +plus vegetables. 1 spoon of extra virgin olive oil.
Comes down to 44g of P, 3g F, 4g of C per shake.
220g of P
15g of F
20g of C
Comes to 1095 cals a day.
that looks sickly low. congrats on the weight tho looking good

Mirror checks I'm lookin real soild. Lat spread has either gotten bigger or its just coming out alot more because I'm leaning out.
