View Full Version : Today's intake...need opinions

I am not sure how my current diet is. I think I may be too high in fats/carbs. Here is my fitday today http://fitday.com/WebFit/PublicJournals.html?Owner=zookoz Really, it doesn't differ much day to day as far as the numbers. I just recently started using fitday again though. I weigh 200lbs and am looking to bulk. Any opinions on what I should lower and what I should raise as far as protein, carbs, fats? Does it really matter as long as I reach my minimum #s and gain weight on a bulk?

Edit: Also, this is not a lifting day. I work out 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

If so..... Eat more.

Cut from 240lbs to 215lbs for my senior year as a fullback.

Yeah, eat more is a priority. I guess I want to eat cleaner though. (I am a 200lb.....nose tackle...)

You got alot of calories, but I quickly added your soda and fast food together. If you subtract those (crap) calories from your total, you come out to about 3351 clean calories.

If you can slam down those calories in better food, I think it may be better for positive progress.

drop the soda and fast food (nothing beneficial).. have a steak..

Make yourself oatmeal, protein powder and PB/Olive Oil shakes. You get a lot higher quality foods without the high level of saturated fats. With that being said, be sure that you get an appropriate level of saturated fats. IIRC, the optimal range is fro 20% to 25%. Don't eat a lot of saturated fat, but be sure you don't eliminate it entierly.

I like the steak idea.
