I train for strength so i use heavy weight at first on the main lifts but afterwords i might up the sets to get a good burn; whats frustrating is after that workout only my traps are mildly sore. It is too much but im not sure how much lifting i can do at the camp so wanted to make this one to last;back and legs today so ill post how it goes, after squats i have no energy though

biggimp

i still have a hard time believing your squat numbers. especially when you do such light weight on rdl's, leg curls, and front squats in comparison. but if youre not full of it then good for you.

Jinkies
06-11-2006, 11:34 PM
Ive just recently started doing those exercises so my strengths on them are real low, im about to take some pictures of my squats just to make sure im hitting the parallel so ill be posting some soon for yall; my hamstrings and grip strength are lacking

Stumprrp
06-12-2006, 06:18 AM
you can probley still SLDL 315 if you can squat that much lol trust me.

Jinkies
06-12-2006, 09:39 AM
I've been very unflexable since football season got out so im taking small steps with that exercise, 135 didnt feel like much but it was difficult for me to go to my toes so figured form over strength until i get it down

Stumprrp
06-12-2006, 09:42 AM
correct

biggimp
06-12-2006, 09:55 AM
so you deadlift 405x5, and 455x1, yet you have never done rdl's before? you are a freak of nature.

The American Squat Record for ages 16-17 in the 242 class is 639. And that's using a suit and wraps.

In that case, the American Squat Record for ages 14-15 in the 242 class is 529. And that's using a suit and wraps.

So you're telling me that he completely demolished the American Record with no equipment?

Hahaha.

06-12-2006, 10:47 AM
Thats exactly what im saying, and ive posted pictures of my powerlifting meet with a lift of 555 which breaks that record from back in march; due to my genetics and growth im pretty much a grown man at 15 been shaving since 7th grade

Anthony
06-12-2006, 10:57 AM
Where are the pics?

Jinkies
06-12-2006, 10:57 AM
Im Randall Dorsett and i go to Round Rock, if theres ANY doubt thats me you can look at my pictures from 240 in the members section where im wearing a Round Rock shirt

Anthony
06-12-2006, 11:07 AM
Are you lifting in a squat suit?

Jinkies
06-12-2006, 11:12 AM
That lift was done with a squat suit, however in the months its been since then im able to do more raw then i was with a suit then; its the only proof i have though

Anthony
06-12-2006, 11:14 AM
Ahh, if it was with a suit, then I retract my statement. I assumed you were lifting raw based on your raw 565.

So why aren't you listed in the records?

biggimp
06-12-2006, 11:15 AM
i am not trying to cause drama but there is no way there is a high school meet where in the 220 class a 1355 total gets you 9th place. that "federation" must be passing crap lifts left and right.

Jinkies
06-12-2006, 11:17 AM
That was a highschool meet, THSPA Region 2 ( Texas highschool powerlifting association) it didnt go by age just who was the strongest; id kill to be in the books but im turing 16 July 1 and its too late to prove what i have. Its tough but i cant do anything about it; i lift for myself so i guess it doesnt matter if other people know

Anthony
06-12-2006, 11:23 AM
Ahhhhhhhhh, high school meet. That all makes sense now.

Bob
06-12-2006, 11:25 AM
Jinkies.. nobody wants to doubt you.. we actually do want to believe...
Now the problem with the THSPA is that it is not a consistant judging set of events.. there are HS coaches and others who do the judging and may not be the best or unbiased judges...

So here are some events to shoot for in Texas over the next 6-7 months... register in one of these official organizations... and set those records dude. Nothing more then us WBBers want then to cheer on our own...

Good luck man.. and keep us up to date..

Im hoping to do some competiting pretty soon but right now im in football training and shootin for a strait increase in strength; dropping weight for competition would throw off my balance so i will have to weight till around january next year

Just get a damn video man, one of your friends or family members has to have a camera... it would make everyone shut their mouths.

If your "training for football" and for "straight strength" why on earth would you be squatting in a suit? Hmmm... i dont know man...

Jinkies
06-12-2006, 01:37 PM
I squatted in a suit in March during powerlifting season, January-March is dedicated to PL; i have no excuse for not having videos other then me being lazy, i feel ashamed to bring a camera in the weightroom until i feel im worthy of pictures. My intention of this journal wasnt to debate of my lifts it was to see how different training effected my results and to keep myself motivated ill see if i can bring a camera to film my deadlifting session today

KevinStarke
06-12-2006, 01:40 PM
didnt you just say the 565 you did was suited...? Not worthy to bring a camera? Dude if your for real you'd be breaking many records so your obviously "worthy" the constant excuses to provide any proof completelly discredit you man, especially in my eyes. Until you feel "worthy" enough to take a video i think your full of ****.

biggimp
06-12-2006, 02:00 PM
i will paypal you $20 if you show me a video of a 565 squat. no joke.

i am not trying knock you or make you feel bad. i would rather have you post a video and me pay you $20 than for you to be full of crap! it would be nice knowing somebody who is so strong at such an age. so get on it!

KevinStarke
06-12-2006, 02:02 PM
I'm broke but if you post a video of your raw parallel 565 squat i will wear pink spandex pants to the gym and tape each lift.

biggimp
06-12-2006, 02:03 PM
haha. that is worth more than $20

Jinkies
06-12-2006, 02:58 PM
Ill do it for the Spandex, this journal will remain quiet until then
