Yes, that is completely true. I need to be eating exactly 9.858454938593k cals (any more will make me fat, any less wont let me gain). I'm one of the few very genetically gifted with an ectoendomesomorphic body type. It means I can't gain muscle, only gain fat - but have the potential to do so if I eat more, exactly the above amount. If it's not working then 5x5 with pink dumbells and I need to work on my form. But obviously I need to eat more.
