The only thing i could imagine being bad would be the excess fiber.
Perhaps you are talking about HFCS, and not fructose.
HFCS just sucks period.

Fructose is worse than HFCS. At least HFCS is half dextrose.

How much fruit do you want to eat? If you're eating a few pieces a day, that's just good for you. Berries are particularly wonderful - the brightly coloured fruits tend to be high in antioxidants.
Eat fruit. Just don't drink it. And keep it away from the immediate post-workout meal.

I usually do, but mine are about only good for shakes any more. Structural integrity problems with ripe ones until I get more.
