expired glutamine & creatine powders

Does anyone know if expired glutamine or creatine is really that bad after the expiration date? I had some good size cans given to me of each of these powders, but they are expired by about 3 months. Do ya'll think they are still good enough to take?

i believe they have 2 yr shelf life, personally when something expires i chuck it out.

does shelf life mean the time after it expires or from when the item was produced?
