pre, I prefer slow digesting carbs and pro--post, I like to have a mixture of slow and fast carbs w/ fast pro. This is just me though :)

might not be the best but works for me....iced tea is good for a clean buzz with no crash. Especially good in hot weather. I usually start drinking it right as I begin training.

I couldn't think of nowt worse than downing a shake before a workout, just enough water during my workout does for me especially as it's bloody boiling in my garage at the minute due to the uk having a little bit of warm weather.

That reminds me must buy a fan or two

Oats and milk.

On maintanence or bulking I consume 2 slices of whole wheat bread, 6 whole eggs (cooked), some lowfat cheese/meat and a large glass of milk. Then 5 minutes before the actual workout I usually drink a red bull. Get my workouts up too par.

On cuts I usually just drink a large glass of black coffee (5 minutes before the workout), while drinking gatorade during the actual workout. Recently though I've been taking caffeine pills as they are much easier too take then coffee.

Ive heard oats are the best, but you got to take them a half hour or so before the workout.

Mixed meal about an hour and a half before I train. Usually a protein waffle (recipe posted), cottage cheese and some fruit and a handful of nuts.

From what I heard anything with some good quality carbs 90-120 minutes before the workout is fine. Stuff like whole wheat bread/bagels. Pasta, oats etc. etc.

If you take some liquid carbs (milk or a whey shake) or what not they can be consumed 30 minutes before your workout because they dont sit in the stomach as long.

Stimulants are also good but you dont want to take to much of them.

Ist fruit bad before a workout, something about splurting insulin, and hydronoxic combustionism?

Say what? I guess you meant Isnt fruit? I wouldnt say fruit is bad just not nearly anything close to what you could get with other carb sources.

Well I did purchase The rapid fatloss handbook and the UD2 from lyle mcdonald. I learned a TON of info from both books. Things from hormones, diet etc. etc.

But mostly I've been pretty quiet on the forums. My post count is so high from my journal.
