Is all whey protein I find going to have milk included? Only the soy protein I can find has without the dairy, but will the soy be just as good as taking whey? I doubt it.. but does anyone know where they sell whey protein minus the milk. Is Nitrean dairy free?

Whey is derived from milk.
Milk is made up of whey protein and casein protein.

Damn, I thought it was derived from wheat. Guess I'll just use whey and hope my face doesn't turn into one huge rash.

Can you do egg protein, or is that derived from dairy also?

That's possible. I have ON 100% Whey tropical punch flavor. It mentions having lactose, but is says "daily value not established". Not sure exactly what is means though.
By the way, this is the only flavor that I've been able to handle with water instead of milk.

Whey fruity, and serveral others have zero lactose. From what I have seen it is all the wheys that are in fruit flavors.
I think whey fruity might have been stopped being made though.
Honest to god, I don't understand why this there aren't more of these. Who honestly wants to drink milk after a work out? I could drink a fruity none think and sweet drink in a second.

I checked about 5 different places and all discontinued whey fruity. Would this work as an alternative? https://www.bodybuilding.com/store/hd/5plus1.html
though i'm not really sure if it's the lactose that's making an allergic reaction, or just plain dairy itself.

at that cheap, I assume it tastes bad.
It's really to bad you are having a problem. What exactly is going on? I didn't see you mention anything particular in your post.

There is a protein powder made from hemp. It is geared for vegans, so it contains no animal products. Check it out at http://www.myvega.com/products/
I've heard it tastes pretty good...this was from a friend of mine, not a testemonial. Hope that helps!

Are you ALLERGIC to milk? A lot of people confuse milk allergies with lactose intolerance. A milk allergy means your body has an immune response to one or more of the proteins in milk and you would be out of luck. Lactose intolerance simply means you can't digest lactose and it upsets your GI. It sounds like the allergy to me if you would break out.
I would stick to egg and soy protein if I were you. You can get just as far with those as you would with proteins derived from milk.

I'm not really sure what it is, because last summer I started developing a huge rash all around my face, and thought it was just excema or something, until back in april once I stopped drinking milk and taking dairy, I noticed I didn't have to put anything on my face anymore. And it never came back, except maybe once a few weeks ago it came back for a day but not noticeable at all hardly. Anyone have any advice to find out what could be causing this or something? Is soy and egg protein going to be just as beneficial as what whey is?

In that case just stop drinking milk and you should be fine with whey.
Give some regular cheap whey a try.
If you have problems get a pure Isolate or like Wildcat said get one of the fruity ones.

Soy and egg protein will be just as beneficial for you. It'll be a little more expensive but I bet you can find some good deals. Neither digest as quickly as whey, but they're not nearly as slow as casein so they're just fine for post-workout.

Soy and egg are a great deal more expensive. If not, then you're getting your whey from the wrong place.

I been taking this GNC brand whey protein for almost a week now without noticing any problems, so once I finish that off I'll either go with egg/soy protein or get more whey. I just been mixing it with soy milk though, tastes good.

I been taking this GNC brand whey protein for almost a week now.
In that case you could likely get a soy or egg product for a comparable price by shopping at an indepedent health/nutrition store.

Iso-pure sounds like what you are looking for. It is very easy on the stomach and there are lots of different flavors to try.
