Hey guys, just wanna say what's up. This is my first time posting on these forums. Name's James, I'm 21, 5'9" 171 pounds. I was wavering between 215 and 220 pounds about a year and a half ago, and have since gotten to a lowest of 164 and now hover around 170. Anyways, here are some pics, any feedback is appreciated!

And just a couple of stupid ones for the hell of it

So there you have it. I'm not really happy with my midsection definition (or lack thereof) at all. Going back to 171-172 after being 6 or 7 pounds lighter may not seem like much but I'm sure as many of you know it can make a world of difference, so I'm trying to get that back. But this post is already long enough so I will leave it to you guys and any feedback/input/tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Awesome job dude.. post your b4 pics to show others your progression.

Also, don't forget the wheels..
Otherwise, your upperbody looks pretty balanced..

PS.. Welcome to WBB.. from a fellow New Englander!!

Thanks man! Where in NE are you from?

I'm almost embarrassed to post some before pictures...but here goes I guess. These aren't from WAY back because I honestly didn't ever think I'd be taking pictures like this of myself, lol. I was never confident enough and for good reason. But these are still from more in the beginning stages...

I never thought I'd make those public...ugh lol.

Note the date though, just about a year ago.

And thanks a lot guys! I've fallen into a bit of a slump but I'm getting back into more of a routine, this motivation will help hah.

I'll try to get some arm measurements too. Thanks again!

Haha I actually made an account awhile ago but the screenname didn't fit the way I wanted and got all screwed up, I couldn't add another account without a different email so I just left it and never posted cuz it looked ******ed. So today I just changed the email on the other account to an oldddddd ass one and made a new name with the right email. :hello:

But yeah, I'm not going to lie, my legs do need some work for sure. Once I get some more mass there I will feel better posting pics haha. But thanks for the compliments guys! The more feedback the better!

The point is that people join, absorb the info here, let the other members get to "know" you a little bit, etc. etc. and then post some pics.

Also, are you posting these for progress updates and legitimate constructive criticism, or for modeling?

If for the former, color photos with lighting that doesn't cast too many shadows are a better option. Save the creative pics for when the WBB community has warmed up to you.

Not picking on ya...these are just suggestions to keep you from the flames of WBB.

In any case, good job on progress.

Thanks for the input man. I've been a member of many forums and even moderated on a few, I guess that when I join a new one I jump right into the thick of it rather than going through the introductory stages. Force of habit I guess.

The pictures were not taken specifically for this forum, I've had them for awhile, some longer than others obviously. But they are the only shirtless ones I had so I figured I'd use them. Next time I post progress pictures though I will certainly post some with different context. Thanks again!

Welcome to the site, James. Arms and shoulders are a definite strong point at the moment. If we can help keep your focus and the motivation then post away.

Oh and next time, we can always change your screen name if you want. :)

Arms are definitly a strong point. But by most of your pictures you already know that. Get squattin man. 220 to 170 is a huge weight loss. Nice job if you were trying to lose. I wish I could go from 180 to 220.

Ps I DID like the green picture.

nice pics, bro. You look pretty good. You look thick, but if you bring up your traps and back a bit you will look mean. Keep it up

Yeah, wax? You totally don't look 220 in the older ones, really looks like all you did was shave man. LoL. Maybe it's just me.

Nice build (for the most part), but feel free to stop looking at your left bicep.
