Hi everyone I want to thank you all for the great knowledge about lifting and nutrition. Built you are amazing in the wealth of information and the effort you put forth to get us fatties lookin better.
I know I am not where I want to be but I can sure say that life has definitely changed for the better and I am keeping on track.
Chris and the Staff at At Large Nutrition thanks for the excellent products. I religiously use Nitrean and Opticen (After Workouts) to help my body recouperate and build muscle. Your products have defintely played a huge part in keeping my protein intake at adequate levels.
Yes I know I have a ways to go.
I am 6'1".
I definitely have a man mane going on and I am proud of it. Aside from the usuall trimming, NO shaving for me, my face and head are all I can handle.
Since everyone wants to see leggies I included a pic.
Resolution sucks (used my phone) since my ex girlie stole my digital camera :( Gonna buy another soon :)
Update 11-21-2006: Ok 5 months have passed since I posted my original pictures. I figured I should take pictures BEFORE the holiday eat everything and its mother philosophy kicks in.....hehe. I do not see much of a difference in 5 months, although maybe my arms are fuller and shoulders are getting fuller as well. I am at about 234 right now up from 220. Maybe old age is finally filling in the gaps:) I really should have taken 5 month progression pics from the start but hey I learned from my mistakes.
How about a guess on bodyfat? Could someone maybe help me out on that? I am guessing at least 25%? I have always been a fattie so getting super cut abs are definitely not on my list. I do however would like to get as close to possible as I can. I have been lacking on tracking my fitday but come the new year it will be my goal to keep it as up to date as possible so I can get an idea of my macross. Then I will have to hit up Built to give me a hand.

awesome transformation. You have great muscle maturity, it really shows in your quads and chest. Once you start dipping below 200 you will look sick. Keep it up and keep doing what you are doing because it is working.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
It has taken me about 2 years to get to this point. Weighed myself this morning and I dipped below 220 to 218.
I am 33 years old
Bench never max out but I do 325x6 345x2 or 3 if I can. I will try maxing out next time I have a couple days rest.
Squat 365x8 405x3
Deadlift......225x2 Because I had an injury from heavy deads I am doing light weight.

Great work! The way you started your OP I was expecting a still fat orangutan or something. So disappointed. :(
Your transformation is great. I'd like to see an update of pics in half a year or so. Your legs look good as they are but will look even better in the future if you keep at it.
And the man mane you've got is far from offensive. In fact, it's fairly unobtrusive (unless the phone cam isn't capturing it well). No need to worry about it.

Hey thanks everyone.....I really appreciate the nice words and it gives me so much MOTIVATION to keep going.
The hardest part of this whole journey has had to definitely be the diet. I absolutely can not have too many carbs and absolutely no sugar so imagine a world without those :(
I do have cheat days and I have been informed to cut those out because 1 or 2 cheat days a week can really hurt me because of my metabolic type. Oh what we men do for the ladies right....
Again thanks to all that have responded I will post more pics up in maybe another month.

Ok I have updated my picture to show a 5 month progress. I am 234 right now and was 220 from a cut. The Holiday bulking is beginning and I am soooooo excited for all the food but not from the fat I am going to pack on :)

Thanks so much for the kind words. It means so much to me to get a positive response from you guys. It helps in the gym as well in terms of motivation and dedication.....
How bout a guess on bodyfat? Do you guys think I might be over 25%? Maybe hard to tell from the pics?
Next year I will concentrate on keeping my mass but loosing the bodyfat as well. I did hear that it is hard to get stronger on a cut which is why I decided to get off and do a clean bulk.....if that makes sense?

i'd say 20% tops, but more like 17-19%. keep up the solid work. looks like u added size on the cut!

Thanks homie, yeah ok I thought maybe 23% tops but I guess maybe a little less is probably about right. The thing that screws me up the most is that when I go on a cut I get weaker. I really do not like getting weaker. My strength suffers and I get sick often ie: colds and stuff. My body likes to be here at this bodyfat. I do love feeling leaner and maybe with a little more muscle I can cut down easier as muscle will use more calories.....at least I think this is right?
The more muscle you have the easier is it to get lean?
