This is like with the whole salt thing.
Its really up to personal preferance. I would never tell anyone butter is good for you but I wouldnt say its bad. Its one of those things that got a bad rep because people ate to much of it. If you want it eat it if not then dont.
Crab meat is very expensive as a source of protein as already stated.

To answer your question it's good for cutting because it's low calories high protien.

Yea, its good for putting a whole in your wallet. Protein powder would be much better and cheaper, IMO.
But hell if money's not a problem, eat up!

The problem with that is I get the stuff butter has from other foods I eat throughout the day and much more of it. I would rather save those calories from butter for something else.
