Hey guys this is the routine that i do every week over the summer with my football team at school any thoughts on ways to improve it. It is a modified version of Bigger Faster Stronger so every week for the core lifts the rep schemes are different.
Here is what we did for the past week:
Monday:
Incline bench: 5,3,1
Front Squat:5,3,1
Shrugs:2x10
Ladder Work
Transition runing work
Sandbags, Kettlebell, and Rope Work
Tuesday:
Running Workout + Condition 10 110's
Wed:
Power Clean:5,3,1
Towel Bench:5,3,1
Shrugs:2x10
Ladder Work
Transition runing work
Sandbags, Kettlebell, and Rope GPP Work
Thursday:
Same Workout as Tuesday
Friday:
BB Bench:5,3,1
Squat:5,3,1
Shrugs:2x10
Ladder Work
Transition runing work
Sandbags, Kettlebell, and Rope GPP Work
That is the basics of the routine that we have this summer for football in addition to the skill work that we do. Any advice on anything i could add to my routine that would help is appreciated and overall comments too. Thanks!
