Hey everyone, greetings from California.
I currently started weight lifting about one month ago, I have not seen much weight gain, but I have not really expected it yet. I am not taking any supplements, I wanted to make sure I would be dedicated to lifting first.
Anyways, I am, 17 years old, 6-0, 155-160 LBS right now. I can't say my diet is the healthiest, I eat fast food, lots of bad snacks probably (pudding, chips, ice cream etc), I do eat good dinners most of the time. I'll estitmate I defintely take in more than 2,000 calories each day. I am not fat though, probably just good metabolism.
My goal weight it to get to 180. I really like to do this in about 8 months. I do not know if this goal is resonable or not. I am looking though for products to help, probably a shake or something. I am not really interested in creatine or anything harmful to my body. I don't want anything that would register a positive drug test.
I was looking at this...

but if anyone has anything from this site, or any suggestions please point me in the right direction, or give me lifting tips on how to acheive this. Or if my goal is even reasonable.
Thanks.

Ok well first off, it's good to hear that you are dedicated enough. That goal is very achievable, but your diet needs some serious revamping. Most of us who are bulking will have roughly 2000 calories at one sitting. So if you plan on gaining weight you need to triple this most likely. Right now I am 17 5'11'' at 172, i have about 6200 calories a day with roughly 270g of protein and I barely gain a pound a week. Diet and routine are going to be key for you to achieve your goal. As far as supplements, look into these:
Multivitamin
Fish Oils
Antioxidants
Protein Shakes (usually anything basic will do, just to meet your protein macros for the day)
Creatine (not harmful to the body in any way, shape, or form)
Now to reach your weight gaining calorie range, you will need to track your foods and figure out how many calories it takes for you to maintain weight. Then take a pen and paper or whatever you need to but track the food you eat throughout a day and put it into www.fitday.com. Make sure you meet your requirements for caloric surplus to gain weight, which is ideally 200-300 calories extra, and keep adding this amount until you gain enough that you are content in.

It's completely wrong. Everyone's needs are different. "You should probably triple this" isn't going to help him.

You need to track everything you eat on www.fitday.com (http://www.fitday.com). To find your starting calories, take your weight and multiply it by 15. Let's take 160 for this. So...your starting calories will be 2400. Stay with 2400 for about 2 weeks and if you're not seeing gains, add another 100-200 calories and stay with that for another week or two. Once you start seeing gains, stay with that caloric intake until you stop gaining and then repeat the process again. It'll take some trial and error to find the proper calorie intake, but it'll be worth it. You don't want to go gung-ho and start eating 6,000 calories not only because your stomach needs to take time to adjust to new bulk, but because you don't want to start becoming a pudgy blob of horror.

Creatine (not harmful to the body in any way, shape, or form)
What does it actually do? See, I heard it doesn't really add strength, just adds water weight or something, and could make you fat. I also don't wanna look bigger I do need to be stronger as well.
There are no side effects to it though?
Thanks for the input though guys.

That gainer sucks. It's 101g of maltodextrin and fructose. Grab some whey, natural peanut butter, olive oil, oats and mix it with milk.

I heard if you don't lift when you take it, it will make you fat, but I guess that would be true no matter what if you increase calories without lifting too.

I heard if you don't lift when you take it, it will make you fat, but I guess that would be true no matter what if you increase calories without lifting too.An excess of calories over your maintenance on a consistent basis will make you fat. Creatine won't make you fat. It has no calories. The water retention may make you a little bloated, but it's just water, not fat. And some people don't experience the bloat.
You won't get fat if you take it and don't lift. You can take creatine alone just for it's positive effects:

Lots of elderly taking creatine to help with memory, cognition and energy levels. They sure aren't getting fat.
