Hi, i know im starting yet another journal and my other one was bulking, but i wasnt bulking seriously, nor could i keep a stedy routine, let me break this down for you

Im bulking HARD for the rest of the summer, i will get fat probley about 22% bodyfat but i will be bigger and stronger guarenteed. If all goes well i will end at 220 give or take.

Im hitting the market tomorrow with my mom and getting a large stock of

Cheese
Nuts
Peanut Butter

Red Meat

3 shakes including 1 large before bed, all with milk

Dont neglect turkey, cottage cheese or chicken... all very high protein foods that I could eat tons of.

If your worried about getting too much BF you could try body recompisition. Granted its probably a slower process then you would like, you wouldnt gain much if any visible fat.

Track calories and your macro nutrients bro... it will help as much with bulking as it would with cutting. Start up a fitday and enter everything you eat into so you can look back at the last 1-2 weeks and decide what you need to do the next few weeks based upon what happend with your weight to that point.

Nitrean is good ****, not only is it a blend but its cheaper then most whey protiens when bought at retail. Ill be cutting with heavy useage of nitrean myself...

thanks, a body recomp is to much and to slow for me, ill end up at about 20-22 after this and ill simply cut, cutting isnt a big deal to me after 80 lbs. yeah i know about the chicken but we dont have a grill yet so ill get some sliced from the deli.

Had to get some cardio done, i havent in a while and the gym was closed, i also ate a ton of hot dogs at work, and i have more cookouts later so i gotta do it lol.

20 squats
10 half chinups
10 pushups

3 rounds through

.30 run

20 squats
10 half chins
10 pushups

3 rounds through

.30 run

25 jumping jacks

Short but intense, got me a good sweat/wanted to barf my brains out because of the food and it is 90+ degrees outside, but it got the job done.

god i ate alot today, might of been to much LOL but its all good ill take it a bit easy tomorrow, got some heavy deads legpress and gonna try some overhead shrugs, then nextweek i start fullbody routine and adding a big shake before bed, MWF fullbody T T cardio.

Lmao, for example, i just ate at Macaroni grill with a friend and got the filet, it was about 8 ounces with potato and asparigous, had a cheese sauce on top, 1100 CALS AND 80 GRAMS OF FAT, jesus!!! LOL!!

OPTICEN is amazing, buy it now!! i can barely finish it! lol.

todays diet so far

1) eggwhites and a small bowl of plain oatmeal
2) pb and banana on wheat
3) 6 inch tuna sandwich
4) opticen with 16ounces low fat milk

Nice squats. 315x8? You should be good for a 405 max. You should test it out.

Pullups also excellent. I'm going to try a neutral grip next time and I think that will help. I should be good for BW+100 using that.

This is a motivational thread. Especially the diet. lol I'm 25 years old, 5'8" and only 140lbs!! I need to keep eating more than anything. My lifts are improving though.

I'm still in school also and have 2 months of summer to bulk up before 9/6.

I'm going to finish reading all this and get my plan straightened out. Any other threads just like this? lol

I might stop the bulk unfortunatly, ive realized what am i doing bulking at 19% body fat???? i have barely any definition, im not seeing much size gain, but my strength is skyrocketing. I think i might start the cut soon since ive been refeeding for 3-4 months now and if i screw my body up i can probley get lean in a few months.

i dont know, im never happy with the way i look and ive never been ripped before. I need a hug lol.

im considering waiting to do UD2.0 until i get to about 14%, since i should be able to get there in a decent amount of time. I will keep the carbs pretty low anyways, protien high, fat moderatly high so i can use that for enegry instead of carbs and go straight to fat burn during workouts. I guess ill go back to a tradtional split, lifting 2 on 1 off 2 on. Cardio well i dont know 3 days a week of HIIT should be good. Today im just gonna start dieting and go in for some cardio.

HIIT
10 minutes 3.5 to 8.0 with 5.0 incline, buryed it to 12.0 MPH on the last run

Abs
20 crunches
10 leg raises
5 hanging knee raises

did this twice.

That was all, wow i was sweating..

so far i have ate

Breakfast Large dish of egg whites, coffee, 1 scoop nitrean in water
Snack Carrots
Postworkout 1 scoop nitrean in water, 2 tbsp natty PB

I have to say whatever choice you make is a good one, but I dont know for one that I would hop off the bulk when you were seeing such insane strength gains.

Summer is nearly over, and your far from fat now to be begin with. Its my opinion that you should have stayed on the bulk for a few more months. Either way good luck with your goals.

Brother I hear you, every time I get a pump and you can see seperation between larger muscle groups like my shoulders and chest I freak out. In those brief instances I want to take a knife and cut all the fat off my body, because I would kill to be like 10% BF....

But you have to look at the big picture, its hard for me to believe you think you have to much fat when your down 60+lbs from how heavy you were.

Damn stump, been way too long since i stopped in. I definitely feel you on wanting to get that chiseled look, but personally I'm sick of it. Im at 173 now around 10-11% its nice to have the six pack and the chiseled. Im just getting sick of it, cause its all ive ever been, I think 190 for me will be great and then cut down to 10% at 190 similar to you. That HIIT running you did along with crossfit was intense. Good sh1t bro, keep it up.

so there pretty damn good i just need to add more carbs and ill be all set!

We're with you Robbie, but to tell you the truth it appears you are after greater sex appeal which is fine and all, I'd say it would personally please me to see you back to bulking.

There was a guy at my gym who got up 275lbs at your height which was ridiculous and there were other things he was doing to help him of course, but when he got done and came down it was insane (he has nothing on you).

Here for you no matter what you do, I understand you want to see the abs, striations and what not - ;)

Sounds good, I was actually thinking about doing a similar carb cycle setup like this as well when I start back up next week. Are you doing any kind of depletion workouts on the depletion days?

today and tomorrow i pop back to maintainance cals with starchy carbs, and deplete for 3 days next week before i go to new hampshire

Actually, from a lot of Built's posts, it appears to me that's actually what you are supposed to do. The crazy heavy lifting is what promotes your body to hang onto the muscle that you have, and still allows you to cut down the fat and BF. kinda fooked the diet tonight, not really still not many carbs, but i went out to eat with my sister to this fancy italian joint and got a ceaser salad, and this stuffed grilled chicken with fontina cheese and italian ham with a lemon butter sauce, OOHHHHH MAN I GOTTA POOP.

Dude was at my other gym years ago, he seemed to be dragging one leg or the other all the time because he was so big and uncomfortable. I was friends with his partner who told me he ate a whole dozen of eggs at breakfast daily.

I only remember him doing 4pps flat benches regularly, probably a couple of sets with 4 reps each, and that was at least a couple of times a week to stay on top of them.

Take note that most guys who get up to 275lbs eat 4 meals and also have 4 drinks with real high cals and protein plus they're cycling.

good workout. Rest periods can be boring but we are all not strong ass bastards like u stump!!!!!

And about the squats, its better safe than sorry, youll get 405 eventually but you dont wanna get an unneccesary injury on the way.
