I know just about everyone drinks water all the time, but for me, it is gatorade. Water is good to an extent, then I have to have something else. If not I will go NUTS! Is gatorade bad for you? I know it has some sugar in it, but it taste so DAMN GOOD!! What about Diet Dr Pepper Caffiene Free? Is that bad as well? Let me know what you think.

Water, Ice Tea, Green Tea, Crystal Light, diet soda.

Gatorade, depending on the type (powdered is different from premade strangely) is nothing but sugar and water. Depending on how you use it, it can be good for training, but I definately would not suggest drinking it all the time.

I wouldn't drink caffiene free, expecially how caffiene raises ur metabolism. But Diet wild cherry dr pepper is great! I Drink mostly water now...sometimes diet soda...milk and protein shakes. I wouldn't think gatorade is bad for you if you don't abuse it...are you bulking or cutting?

I drink crystal light but I found out that Nestea makes an identical kind of drink mix that uses Splenda instead of Aspartame so I'll be switching to that.

Sobe LEAN
Crystal Lite
Clear American Flavored Water (That cheap, carbonated stuff from Wal-Mart)

Water and milk. That's about it. I would say weight-gainer shakes but the ones I make are so thick it's almost like eating solid food. Juice is out because my skin has some weird reaction whenever I drink the stuff.

I'm currently drinking only water. Every now and then I'll have a diet coke if I'm eating out on the weekends. I need to start drinking green tea again too.

From that article....

"If caloric expenditure does not equal caloric intake, then sugar is easily convereted to fat as storage."

This statement is so broad, with so many other factors coming into play, it should not even have been written.

We'll ignore the spelling mistake.

I drink a sh!tload of green/white tea. 3-5 big mugs a day. It's my coffee, since I don't drink coffee. Then milk, and water. I almost never drink sodas, diet or otherwise. Crystal light gives me reflux like a bitch, so that's out.

Water w/
Powdered Gatorade MixEveryone is raving about powdered Gatorade mix. Is it good and...is it cheaper than buying normal Gatorade? If it's cheaper then I'll start getting the powder from now on.

These are off the top of my head:

32oz's of premade gatorade is like $1.89 where I live, 4 servings:
One serving is like 50 cals 13g of CHO's, total is 52g of CHO's.

One serving of powdered gatorade same as one serving of premixed. In a container has 37 servings for $4.50ish.

Just did the math, for the same amount its like $17 if you buy premixed. I like it cause I can just throw it a shaker w/ whey/creatine and mix water when i need it.

Two things too keep in mind, the powder only comes in Lime/ Orange/ Fruit Punch (in my area). So the choices are limited but it works well for me. The second is the scoop is 1.5 servings can get confusing for some, lol.

I love orange and I love fruit punch, so that's perfect. :) Thanks. I'll look around for the Gatorade packets next time I'm at the store.

Forsure, look around near the premixed gatorade or the powdered drink mixes. Its an orange little bottle, looks just like those big gallon coolers that sports teams have.
