I have a couple questions. Im doing wbb1, and following it pretty stricltly. Most of the excercies only recommend 1-2 sets, would there be any benefits of me increasing to 2-3 sets for all the excercies? What does additional sets do for me?

WBB1 only incorporates chin-ups, but I would also like to do pull-ups. What are the differences between these excercies and how should I incorporate it.

Right now im trying to gain size, not really strength. But ive been reading 5x5 is good for the big compound excercises. Should I change my routine to incoporate this? What doe s5x5 accomplish, is it mainly for strength? Thanks in advance.

Give increasing the sets a try, and see what happens.

If you don't know the difference between a pullup and a chin up, why do you want to include the pullup?

Don't worry so much about sets and reps. 5x5 will get you big, and will get you strong, so long as a lot of other things are in place.

Right now im trying to gain size, not really strength. That's like wanting to get obese without the weight.

Here's some 5x5 stuff you can look at: 5X5 Programs (http://www.geocities.com/elitemadcow1/table_of_contents_thread.htm)

Or you can just use the theory of it with the exercises from WBB1.

Obviously I know strength comes with size.. jesus... I was just saying size was my priority atm. And yes I know the difference between a chin-up and a pull-up.

What are the goals of the 5x5 program and what effect does increased sets have on an excercise?
