I miss pizza and since I am waiting a bit to get the money and friends orders to put in an order to pizzafree, I decided I was gonna make some of my own Pizza bagels. Problem is ingredients. Here is what I am thinking (havnt looked around the store yet)

-Whole wheat bagel
-Fat free cheese (have no idea what type of cheese)
-Organic tomato sauce

So, if anyone has made these before I would love input, or if anyone has a good recomendation on tomato sauce and cheese I can use that are good. Thanks.

What's with the fat free cheese?

I dunno, I assumed that was the best cheese to have for these. What type of cheese should I use?

Any cheese is fine. I just think nonfat cheese is less...flavorful.

You never know how they'll taste until you make 'em. I would add a few more ingredients if I was making them, like bell peppers and such.

Agreed. More toppings skinny, tomato's, capsicums, cheese(s!), catchatori, peppers, olives... Mmmm.

Well I made them and they were pretty good :D Each Bagel was 170 kcals, with only 1.5g of fat and 13g of protein. Pretty tastey and healthy if I do say so :D

I actually DID buy pepperoni, but even though it was sealed, and very new, it had mold in it! So yeah, it was nasty, had to take it back :( Pizza was good though, had 3 for lunch, 1 for a snack :D

Seph, try whole-wheat English muffins ftw instead of bagels. Soooo much better! :)

Will do :D

only thing that sucks is they take so dang long to prepare them all (measurements and blah blah blah) I also might wanna try some different types of sauces.

Whats better on pizza bagels/muffins Chedder or Mozzerali (sp?) I tried um the second one, and it was alright, got a pack of chedder waiting. :D

we buy turkey peperoni. not exactly healthy, but its not nearly as fat laden as normal peperoni.

and non-fat cheese does not melt well at all.

Measure and pizza in the same sentence? Cut up and put on. Done.

Try pesto sauces or white pasta sauces....so good!

No they do not :( but 45 kcals for one serving with 8g of protein is too awesome to pass up (it doesnt taste that bad, just its not all melted)
