View Full Version : End of cut MM

07-11-2006, 06:26 PM
Alright, screw the cut. I lost some weight and some of my abs are showing (top), but not enough. Next time I cut I'll use UD2 but that won't be for a while. I want to bulk to around 180.

This is me at around 167. I shaved myself and I'm a little tan from playing beach volleyball. Height is 5'10."

Look good, do you train legs? Can't believe that's only 167 at 5'10". Arm/delt vascularity is pimp.

Yes, I do work legs. They are lagging. No sense in showing anything else since nothing has "improved" during the cut. Here are pics, including legs at the end of the bulk.

What cutting strategy did you use this time?

Well, it was my first cut so I didn't really know. I took Built's advice and cut cals around 20-25%. I also limited most of my carbs to pre- and post- workout. No starchy carbs except before and after w/o. The most problematic area is the pouch right at my belly button.

nice, looking good

Upper arms and forearms look awesome.

Have any other pics besides a most muscular?

I dunno if you should screw the cut. Why not just keep it going until you are truly ripped. You are already getting close, persevere bro. By the way you have great symmetry going on. Good luck

Looking good Prog! Now it's time to pack on some pounds. ;)

07-12-2006, 06:10 AM
nice job time to pack zee pounds on.

07-12-2006, 06:56 AM
lol I thought these were 'MM's (the person) pics. Anyhoo, nice work. Wish I looked like that.

Your bulk pics were 170-175, why did you cut for such a small decrease in weight? I didn't see a reason for you to cut in the 1st place.

lookin good man!

side note, I gota get some pics of me up soon

getfit, Gabrielle, Kana, Keith, Stumprrp, Thexile, accuFLEX:

Thank you!

cphafner - The reasoning behind it was because I wanted to maximize any sort of visual abs as possible for my birthday since I would be spending most of the time with my shirt off. It wasn't long enough to execute the cut, I admit, but it helped.

Gabrielle - Thanks for the suggestion but I really think I need to get bigger. I think when I do UD2 I will eventually see my abs. I just want to be bigger when that happens.

Without further ado here are more pics. No legs since they look EXACTLY like the bulk pics. They don't look any better. My legs are still lagging and are among my weakest muscles.

You look really good. I agree with cphafner- there didn't seem sufficient reason to cut. Overall upper body looks really good and your vascularity in the forearms is freakishly awesome. :)

Now that your cut is over what's the plan? Bulk? Maintain? If you're bulking, what's your goal?

07-13-2006, 08:36 PM
Side Bi looks great... you have good vascularity.

07-13-2006, 08:40 PM
I think you're a bit overly critical. Your legs look pretty good during the bulk. Wonder what they look like post-cut.

Wow Progress. I'm extremely surprised. You look really good man. Nice vascularity, great arms, great chest, and you look very lean. I congratulate you. Overall you look awesome. Keep up the great work.

Oh my GOD! You look great! And that forearm shot - holy vascularity, Batman! WOW!

Totally hot.

Nice work!

07-19-2006, 07:56 AM
TwiloMike - Thanks! The plan is to slow bulk for a while. I'd like to see how the size and shape is at 180. If I'm still relatively lean I'll try for more. If the gut is increased significantly then I'll either maintain or cut.

Beast - Thanks!

Stash - True. Any good leg poses to make them look any better? I'm trying to figure out how to aim the camera and whatnot. Once advised, I'll post those.

Fighter - Thanks! Much appreciated!

Built - You're the best! Thanks!

Any ideas on BF%?

Nice work man. I just started a cut the other day, my own way. I'm gonna see how it works over the next month or two, and if I see no results I will use a real plan I suppose.

I am still quite small, I'm 5'7 and 155 lbs or so, but I put on too much stomache fat that I'm not comfortable with. So I'm gonna cut for now.But I feel soo hungry !

Any ideas on BF%?

More probably 7-9 - you biceps vein is showing well but your stomach fat is still there.

Abs seem to be the last place fat comes off...
