Yes I did try a search, no I did not find my answers.
Ok, so when I'm bulking, from what I understand... I will not get a gut and not gain fat?
And what would the turn out be if I did not bulk, but worked out hard? I would gain mass but still be a skinny guy?

yes you will gain fat and yes you might develop a SMALL gut, even if you bulk super clean which would take a while there will still be SOME fat gain.
if you dont bulk and workout hard you will either maintain or lose weight.

Hmm, ok.. thanks. I'll stick with bulking then because I do not want to stay the same weight.. and I sure as hell don't want to lose weight.

Can't gain mass without eating more then you burn. Simple physics there. So if you want to get bigger, eat.

A clean bulk dosn't slow down the bulking process.

You will gain some fat along with the muscle mass, but it's worth it most of the time, if you cut correctly after a solid amount of time bulking the new gains should be very visible. Watch out for some massive strength gains when your really giving your body a lot of extra protein, fats and total calories.

Yeah I figured I would gain at least some fat, that's a no brainer. I was just worried about how much.
I heard you should each as many grams of protain as your body weight.. so that would be 155g of protein a day for me. Is that true? Sounds like a lot to me, maybe too much.

1.5g per lb LBM protein

It is a lot. I'd never hit it without taking 4 scoops of whey for 96 easy grams a day. However, it's definitely not 'too much'. There are guys around here who eat twice that and are just fine.

If you can't get that much through whole foods, which is ideal, then you should start using whey to reach your goals

You guys think 155 grams is alot?

I had 37.75oz of cooked chicken breast for dinner last night.
Calories 1730
Fat 37g
Protein 325g
That was just dinner. If 155g is alot, then the 400+ I took in yesterday must be tons.

That's a LOT of calories for one meal ( without saying anything about the hour ). Divide all that food in 3 small meals and combine it with complex carbs.

Well technically I ate about 30oz in one sitting, went out riding for about 2 hours then came back and ate the last 7.75oz breast. Alot of cals, but still only hit 2700 for the whole day. It was a rest day so lower carb day for me.

I have 100% whey protein from GNC that I've drank quite a few times before.
And when I meant 155g is a lot I was talking about for me, someone that's just starting to get into the whole bodybuilding scene. I guess it just sounded like a lot..

It does sound like alot when you start, but consider there are guys who eat 5-600g of protein every single day. Now 155 doesnt sound quite so bad.
