I work at a day camp and a person came in to do a work shop on jumping rope. I thought "sweet, 2 hours of her running the show. I can chill out now." Ha!
I was skipping for about 30 minutes non stop. After 5 min I was sweating. After 15 min my shirt was so wet it was a different colour. After the 30 min I thought I was going to die. Damn skipping is intense!!! When I get around to cutting (probably next summer), I will be doing HIIT with skipping. Apparently 10 minutes of skipping is equal, in terms of calories burnt, to 20-30 minutes of jogging. And it is a hell of a lot more fun!
