overall good thickness you got going, chest is lagging somewhat, what do you do for chest

i do heavy incline dumbells, incline barbell, and hammer strength chest press. i never thought my chest was lagging though. its weird i can do more incline dumbell than i can flat bench. flat bench and flat chest exercises just put a lot of pressure on me it seems.

also, i seem to have put on a lot of fat in my face and neck. i used to have a really chiseled face. Will this fat all go away during my cut?

lets say i put on fat easiest on my face and belly during my bulk

on my cut, will those two be the first to go?

you look very good, and your strong, when you cut it comes off the face first and stomach LAST for guys usually, :( lol.

I've never been a fan of doing the same exercise with bb's and db's. I'm doing the BGB routine and it's working well for me and the exercises for chest are like this...

Flat Bench 5x5
DB Incline 3x8
Weighted Dips 2 or 3 sets 6-8 reps. The routine orginally called for incline db flys, but I prefer the dips.

If I'm being honest, when I read your numbers for lifts I thought you would be bigger. What does your routine look like?

In my opinion you look about 22-25% BF.

Most gyms have a body fat caliper, ask about it.

dtshen

haha no i dont think so 22-25 is way off

i agree your legs do seem to be your weakpoint..20% bf looks a lil much, id have to jump on the bandwagon and say 16-18% looks pretty fair.

ok so what are some good measurements for legs ? at 6'3" ? ? what are some good thigh measurements, say right above the knee where the tear is supposed to be?

How old are you? You have a lot of work to do dude.

Trim the bodyfat down a bit, and you will notice a drastic difference. Keeping your bodyfat below around the 10% makes people look bigger. By the way, HeavyBomber that is just rude, man.

you think i should cut right now? bf is too high?

I'd say nice thickness. But, you should improve your posture man. From even just doing that you will look more "solid." It seems like your sagging your shoulders down a lot.

You said "don't be nice".
Putting on muscle takes a lot of work. IMO, you need to put on a lot more muscle. What's so rude about that?
You want more critique? You need to improve your traps, biceps, triceps, chest, delts, forearms, legs, abs, lats, and most likely hips and glutes.
I have been lifting for more than ten years and I could tear myself down even worse. Don't take such offense and get to work.

Oh, I'm sorry...
Hey dude, trim your bodyfat down a little and you'll look a lot bigger, oh and what I said in my previous post too.

how long would it take to cut down to 11-12% bf?

dtshen
07-30-2006, 03:28 PM
i just had a 7 point bf digitial test, from my gym.... said 25%... no way.... wtf??

how do they mess up that?

cphafner

Digitals are not the most accurate method. I would say you are around 20. To get down to 10ish would take atleast 10-12 weeks.

dtshen

so lets say i keep bulking, and i end up with 20% bf.
will i have loose skin after i go to 10% in 8-10 weeks?
